That's the sound of my time. Time, time, time. Why so fast? Could you just stop a bit so we could save all humanity from these bloody, damned titans? I know you can't grant my wish. That's why I need to be fast.

I saw a two 15 meter titans coming for me. I quickly turned around and blinded both of them. Satisfied at what I've done, I sliced their napes.

Here we are, with my troops at the strongest wall of humanity; Wall of Maria.

A whole hord of titans is being lead by her. By Annie. She wanted revenge.

No one listened to her story.

That's the sad part about it. Annie doesn't deserved this kind of treatment. No one deserved. Yet, she's the one who chose her fate.

I ran up the roofs, trying to save the gas of my maneuver gear. Of course we don't want to loose gas don't we?

I kept running while observing the other men. They're doing fine.

Not too long enough, I heard a voice screaming in pain and agony.

I made my way to the lsft and saw a  little girl; missing her right hand; lying helplessly on the ground with an Abnormal titan infront of her, smiling sweetly. I quickly moved and sliced the titan's nape and put the girl in a safe place.

" Please be fine. I'll send someone to mend after you.."

I always believed in myself. I believed in myself that I can do it. She also has that belief.

Who are you pertaining to? 

I'm pertaining to the only girl who had so much determination as I have. It's her. Mikasa.

" M-mister... You are Humanity's s-strongest right?" The little girl said while breathing heavily.

I nodded.

" Thank you, sir."

Before I could utter another word, her hand went limp and dullness flooded her eyes.

I saw a piece of ragged cloth and put it over her.

I kissed her forehead before I was lost in thoughts again...

From the first time I saw Mikasa, I knew she's different. I am aware that every body's different in a way but she's the different different.

Look into her eyes and you see nothing. Look into her soul and see everything.

I want to add something in ' To defeat the titans, you must give up your humanity.'

It could be ' To defeat the titans, you must give up your humanity. And be prepared for insanity.'

I could feel the anger building up in her when I was beatting Eren back then.

I could feel her perseverance during training.

Lastly, her determination of protecting humanity. Especially her brother.

" There's a lot more titan's up north sir. We're getting out numbered!" I heard Armin spoke beside me that I barely noticed. Is this how I'm unfocussed? Damn this.

" What happened to the others?" I asked. As long as I remember, I assign most soldiers at Armin's group.

" Annie.. She.. she ate them all."

Those last, three words..

I hear the voice of the child. I lost grip of my blade like her hand went limp.

My focus is drifting away.. I could barely miss it's attacks. But I felt a big hand squeeze me.

It was Annie's hand.

But to my surprise,

" Wake up! It's time to go sir!"
