Keep On Lovin' You

Waking up in the morning beside the love of your life was something that Speedwagon promised himself he'd never take for granted. The inviting scent of Jonathan's hair and the warmth that always radiated from his body was a comforting trap that never failed to ensnare him on Sunday mornings.

No deadlines to meet and no classes to attend and the only thing left to do was bask in one another's presence. The blond let out a slow sigh, shifting to press his body up against Jojo's, smiling softly as he heard the taller male grunt quietly before wrapping his arms around his boyfriend. This. This is what safety felt like.

The warm morning light filtering through the thin white curtains on their bedroom window had other plans. Closing his eyes, the bright light still illuminated his vision through his eyelids, preventing Robert from catching any extra sleep that he truly deserved. Luckily, Jonathan was experiencing the same troubles.

Jonathan was the first to move, intent on solving the problem as he rolled onto his back, pulling Speedwagon's tired body on top of his own. The taller male had always loved the long blonde curls that spilled over Robert's shoulders, tickling his cheeks as they laid in bed, quietly studying one another's faces.

Admiring the soft curves of Jonathan's lips, always resembling that of a freshly fluffed pillow, warm and inviting. Or the way his deep blue eyes captured the morning rays, illuminating them like ocean water on a cool summer day. It was hard to really think of anything else than the little details. How Jojo's breathing was always so calm and smooth, unwavering and relaxing as his chest rose and fell.

"Good morning, Jo." Robert spoke softly, a smile appearing on his lips as he saw Jonathan's face begin to soften as well.

"Mornin', Robert." He replied softly, voice heavy with sleep as it bubbled and rolled in his throat. Just the tone of the taller's voice made Speedwagon blush lightly, envious of his baritone vocal chords and the charms they always seemed to work on him.

"Do you wanna try again?" Speedwagon decided to ask, slightly nervous as he could tell Jonathan was still uncertain from the last time they tried to have sex. Sure, after the first time neither of them were really expecting intercourse to really meet their standards but after the second and third time... Jonathan and Robert were both starting to wonder if their bodies were just incompatible.

"I don't want to hurt you again." Jojo breathed, visibly a bit nervous as Speedwagon held the dark haired's face in his hands, gently caressing his lightly stubbled cheeks.

"I know, Love. I'm sure this time will be better than the last." Robert assured, kissing the end of Jonathan's nose, giving a smile of reassurance. Apparently, that was enough convincing for Jojo as within moments Robert found himself with his back on the bed. His boyfriend quietly loomed over his body, studying his body language as large hands carefully unbuttoned the top to his pajamas.

It was moments like these that Jonathan really took his time appreciating Robert's body. The pale skin being covered in numerous scars from his lifetime, each one looking like a stroke of a paintbrush on a blank canvas. As the younger male slowly undressed his beloved, he took the time to carefully ghost his lips over the streaks of scar tissue. Though over stretches of particularly sensitive skin, Jojo would always earn a shaky sigh or a gentle gasp from the shorter.

Jonathan had always been incredibly gentle with his boyfriend... to a fault. Bringing Speedwagon to the edge and keeping him there was certainly a talent, if it didn't take forever for Jojo to actually kick into full gear.

Though of course, Robert savored every gentle kiss he got on Jojo's journey down his torso. With a little bit of cooperation and team work, both Robert and Jo manage to get completely undressed, exposing themselves to one another for the umpteenth time.
