A loud banging woke me up. The harsh knocks continued for a few more moments as I realise this isn't a dream but someone is actually knocking. I throw the sheets off me as I trudge towards the door, the banging getting louder and louder until I finally reach the door.

No one visits me, ever.

Maggie doesn't even visit me anymore.

Just as I am about to open the large wooden door, the knocking stops and yelling starts. The voices were loud and harsh, accusations being thrown around as I make out a man and a woman's voice.

I slowly open the door as the voices get louder and clearer. The woman I identify as Tracy Marshalls, a mid twenties lady that was always known for being feisty. Her red hair doesn't help either as she throws her arms around wildly in the air, pointing the finger at her mate. Patrick Marshalls, a late twenties male who is also a pack warrior. He tries to grab his mate as she pushes and shoves him while pointing to my home.

Her eyes are almost as blazed as her hair as she screams at the top of her lungs.

"I know what you fucking did. You think I'm that stupid, huh? I know your scent, and it smells like another woman!" Tracy screams as she shoved Patrick away from her as his arms try to embrace her shaking figure.

"Baby, let me explain. You just need to calm down." He tried soothing her but it only made her angrier.

"Calm down? CALM DOWN! This is me fucking calm so you do not even want to try me when I'm angry, you little bitch." She states as her eyes glance over the crowd that was beginning to form around them, wanting to know the drama.

That's how pathetic my pack is.

"Now, who was the whore that bedded my mate, huh? My guess is this little sluts-" She points to my house as her eyes find me and I try not to visibly wince but the look she was sending my way made me cringe away. Her eyes were like daggers as she threw them individually towards my body, watching to see how I would react to the threat of another she wolf.

"So, she finally comes out of her little hiding place. The little coward can't even face me. Hiding behind the door as if her family was going to save her, well guess what?" She takes a step towards my house as she finishes her sentence.

"They're dead."

The crowd is silent as they watch the conflict, no one intervening as they eagerly wait for a fight to break out.

A growl rips out of my throat in warning as she finishes the sentence, my wolf wanting to surface. After all, I do have third in commands blood which makes my wolf more dominant than the average wolf.

"Aw, did I upset the little slag?" She taunts, mocking me.

"That's enough, Tracy." Patrick warns his mate as her eyes snap towards him, her eyes wild as she laughs darkly.

"You're sticking up for her? Next thing I know you'll want to mate her." She snarls at the idea before turning towards me. Her arms open as a sign of welcome.

"Come on, Daniella. Show me what a third in command can do. Show me why my own mate doesn't think I'm good enough." She growls at the end as I blink back at her and I shake my head, not wanting to cause any conflict.

The mate connection is strong but also deadly. Your wolfs natural instinct is to take out any competition that involves your mate and in this case, her wolf thought I was the threat.

"No?" She questions as I continue watching in silence which angers her even more.

"NO, is not a fucking answer whore." She growls before she straightens her posture, a new found confidence radiating off her figure.
