He left the bathroom silently making his way back to his bedroom. His wrists were burning and he had dried tear tracks staining his cheeks.
He lied down on his bed and engulfed himself in the warm duvet. He just wanted to lose himself, he wanted to disappear. But, this is reality, he knew he couldn't do that.
If you asked him what was wrong, he would say he's hurt. Vague, but very true. He's just a fragile boy who needs someone. His mom cares, but he needs someone to love him.
Needs someone to go out of their way to talk to him about the stars and the little things in life. He needs someone to plan cute dates for him and what-not. He needs somebody who loves him for all his flaws and imperfections.
He can't stop the tears from falling, he did have someone like that. And like everything good in his life, they left. He was happy before, believe it or not. He used to wear a smile everyday. He used to be normal.
His phone started beeping and buzzing. He groaned and rubbed his puffy eyes. He grabbed the small device and saw a number that he wasn't familiar with. He hovered over the 'ignore' button but soon hit the answer.
"H-Hello?" His raspy voice spoke into the speaker.
"Luke? It's Doctor Clifford." Luke let out a worried breath.
"Yes?" He asked timidly. No one has ever called him before. Besides Calum and his mum. Other than that, no one.
"Uh, there are some papers here that you and your mother need to fill out, can either of you come by and get them?" He asked, his voice wavering slightly. Luke nodded but remembered that Doctor Clifford couldn't see him.
"Yeah, my mum's at work, but I can come by." He said.
"Thank you. I'll see you soon?" Doctor Clifford asked.
"See you soon." Luke assured, hanging up. He sighed and sat up. He walked over and threw on his beanie, Vans, and jacket. He left his mother a note before leaving to go to the office he was at not even an hour before.
