I swear, I love this story.

Needless to say, Mado-san had screamed at him during her next visit. Hide wasn't surprised.

"Hai, hai, but I gave it back, didn't I? I used your quinque as a model for Shirazu's new quinque. And he really likes it, so it's fine, isn't it?"

"ARE YOU TRYING TO JUSTIFY STEALING MY QUINQUE?!!"

"...Yes."

"DHBJDCB JKEDJSBHJKJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It had been three days since they'd given the bluenette the pill, so now, at Hideyoshi's orders, Saiko and Shirazu were back at this apartment.

Knock, knock.

The door creaked open, the bluenette peeking through. Upon seeing the pair, her eyes widened slightly in realization before she let them in.

"I tried the pill." The bluenette smiled slightly, "It sure doesn't kill anyone, that's for sure. No side effects whatsoever that I could see. But, uhm.. I still don't know.. what it does though.. It didn't seem to have any effect on my.. condition.. Is there any way you could take me to Hide so I could talk with him, or..?"

"..Probably not.." Saiko spoke softly in thought. Considering the reason he was locked in the apartment in the first place.. they probably wouldn't allow.. anyone to visit him.

"Ah. That's too bad.. His friend.. really wants to see him." She smiled softly, as if reminiscing, "He got all giddy when I said Hide was safe and sound.. It was funny to watch. So, I assume Hide asked you to come here once more?" she got back to business, and the pair nodded.

Three days after.. He knew she wasn't going to test it for a little while.. She had to find a ghoul to test it on, after all. She wasn't going to risk testing it on herself after knowing Hide was an investigator..

This only makes her think that he's trying to cure ghoulness even more..

But, it's not possible.

Touka sighed softly, "Tell him to stop."

"Huh?"

"I think.. I know what he's trying to do now.. But, what he's trying to cure.. isn't curable."

Saiko and Shirazu exchanged glances.

"He.. said you might say that," Shirazu began, "He told us to tell you in response that.. it's more of a medicine like for ADHD- it doesn't cure it, but as long as you take the medicine, it'll be like.. you don't have it. In this case.. whatever.. disease you have, it'll be like.. you don't have it if you take the medicine.. That's what he's hoping for. So.. So it doesn't have any effect?"

Touka shook her head, "No effect at all."

"That's.. too bad. Well then, we should probably relay this to Hissan."

"Yeah. Alright, uh.. what was your name?"

"? Oh, I haven't told you it yet, have I? It's.."

Should she tell them her real name?

"Well, you haven't told me yours either, have you..?"

"! Ah, right. My name is Saiko Yonebayashi," Saiko held out her hand.

Touka took it, gulping slightly, "Touka."

The first name shouldn't be much.. Besides, they're innocent, and Hide already knows her name..

"My name is Ginshi Fura, but you can just call me Shirazu," Shirazu held out his hand, and Touka took it with a nod.

"Nice to meet you two.. Thanks for being Hide's messenger."
