The Room of Hidden Things was a most incredible sight. Even Luna and I, who spent hours studying all the secrets of the castle, never knew that something like this existed. "I wonder where it is. I'm thinking it's a relatively small bottle. " Luna said, looking up at the towers of objects all around us. Clearly, people had been hiding things here for many years. I was itching to explore everything in this room, but I told myself to stay focused. "Right. " I said, "I'll start looking here. Maybe take the stack next to this one, Luna?" We began sorting through the piles of hidden objects.

After an hour of searching, I heard Luna cry from what sounded like very far away. "Faye! Come here, I think I've found it!" I hurried over toward the sound of her voice. She was sitting in a pile of books that were probably forbidden, clutching a small glass vile in her hands. I knelt beside her. The potion was bright blue, with a sort of holographic shine if the light hit it right. "Well, it's definitely the prettiest potion I've ever seen,  " I said. "Should we take it up to Ravenclaw tower, then?" Luna turned to me and grinned.

We made it back to Ravenclaw tower just before the sun set. After hurriedly answering the knocker's question; ("If someone finds out you did something you weren't supposed to, were you lying by not telling them in the first place?") we ran up to our dormitory, without even stopping to look over homework. Once we were underneath my bed covers, ("like a child hiding a biscuit", Luna pointed out, ) I took the potion out from under my robes. It's shimmering blue color was even brighter against the sky blue sheets. I took a breath to calm how excited I was. "Shall we try it tonight?" I asked Luna. Luna stared at me. "I thought you were going to use this for Divination lessons!" I sighed. "Yeah, I know, but... I feel like this potion might be to valuable  just to use on schoolwork. " Luna looked at me, exasperated. "You just want to use it tonight because you can't wait, correct? You believe you'll see something so important that it can't be wasted in lessons. " Luna could always tell what I was thinking. I looked at her pleadingly. "Just one little sip for each of us, Luna. I promise I'll save the rest. " Luna smiled at me, then took the bottle, and uncorked it.

Usually, drinking an unknown magical substance is an extremely stupid thing to do. Normally, I would have been much more cautious. However, for some reason, I was absolutely certain this potion was exactly what I thought it was. I was equally as sure I would see something important. Luna and I each took a sip of the potion, which tasted like sweetened water. (When I was younger, I would regularly drink with water with a pinch of raw sugar in it, believing it would give me fairy wings. I knew this taste quite well. ) I began to feel very drowsy about ten minutes after we took it, and right before I fell asleep, Luna noted there had probably been a sleeping draught in the potion as well. I closed my eyes and instantly found myself in a very familiar place. The Great Hall of Hogwarts.
