I wake up to the sound of someone calling my name. The bright sun hits my eyes harshly. Slowly, I get up and look around. I glance to either side of me and see him. That man is walking through the street frantically, looking for me by the looks of it. No way am I going back to you. I start to back away and hide where he can't see me. As he walks by he looks into the alley, but he doesn't see me. I hear a horse break free from a wagon. I hear it running straight in his direction. Suddenly all the memories flood into my mind. I get up and run forward as fast as I can despite the throbbing headache.
"Levi!" I scream. He looks at me and smiles, so full of relief and joy. His eyes light up like a thousand stars, right before he gets pushed to the ground. Tears roll down my cheeks and I just let everything out. I scream and cry as I rush over to Levi. He lay in the middle of the road, completely limp.
"Come on, Levi. G-get up, y-you have to. Pl-please L-le-vi. I remember you, s-so you have to get up." My cries are in vain, I knew it from the start. I look down at Levi's lifeless body. His skin practically white and his eyes showing now light. They aren't warm like they always used to be. His lips have already begun to have a purple tint to them. His face covered in blood from the hole in his skull. The horse stomped straight through his skull and destroyed his brain. I know this, but I still lay over his dead body crying to him. Begging him to look at me. For him to tell me it's okay. To say he forgives me for leaving. For him to say he loves me one last time. To breathe. But he doesn't look at me, he doesn't tell me it's okay, he doesn't say he forgives me for leaving, he doesn't say he loves me that one last time. Eventually I'm peeled off of him by several men and he's taken away, and he doesn't breathe.
-------------------------------------------------
It's been three days and I haven't left Levi's side. I haven't eaten or drank anything since what happened. I feel weak and the cool air surrounds me, pulling me in. The dirt is cold and hard, the stone frigid against my back. But I lay here, for this is where they buried Levi. While I was here I not only regained my lost memories, but ones of a different life. One were I never got to confess my love before I died. A world filled with titans. The servants bring me food and water, but they never could convince me to eat or drink. I've become very weak due to this and my lack of sleep. I look at the setting sun and as it dips below the horizon I close my eyes and everything grows cold. I let out a cry as I'm ripped from everything I know, white light blinding me. I squeeze my eyes shut. Suddenly warm arms wrap around me and I know it's the one I'm closest to. I open my eyes to see a happy face looking at me. I smile and close my eyes as all the pain from my past lives fades away.
"I'll name you Eren." Despite just entering this world I know two things.
This is my mom, and she's the only one I love.
Right?
