Chapter 5

When Taehyung left the room, just then Jungkook realised it was his room. How did he got to the apartment while being unconscious?

He slowly turned around and plopped down onto the mattress again. He grabbed his phone from the nearest dresser and unlocked it.

Four unread messages showed up on the screen.

<Hoseok>
If you wonder how did you get to your apartment, thank Taehyung

<Hoseok>
He came to the nurse office when I called him to inform about you. He was so scared.

<Hoseok>
He looked like he was out of his mind. I've never seen him like that. I'm telling you, he was so scared that something bad happened to you, but when the nurse told him it was just a fever, he seemed to calm down.

<Hoseok>
Really Kook. Talk with him. Maybe he will tell you about the secrets :) anyways how are you feeling?

The last text message was sent 10 minutes ago. That wasn't that long ago. Jungkook started typing.

<Jungkook>
I'm okay. Just woke up. Was Taehyung really that scared?

He sent it. A few minutes later another beep came from the phone.

<Hoseok>
That's good to hear. Yep, he was.

<Jungkook>
I wonder what's gotten into him. I tried to talk with him about it but he just won't budge :(

<Hoseok>
Take a bit of time Kook. Maybe he will tell you someday and it won't be as bad as you thought. Give him time.

<Jungkook>
Okay, hyung, maybe you are right. I'll think about it.

<Hoseok>
Yeah, maybe that will take a bit of pressure of his shoulders and he will tell you :) okay, bye, need to go.

<Jungkook>
Bye!

Hoseok knew about all of the 'next time' things with Taehyung long ago and he always told Jungkook to just wait. Maybe he was right, but Jungkook was too impatient to just wait. If something wasn't told to him, he needed to know right away. And well with Taehyung, it wasn't working that way.

Jungkook closed his eyes and tried to sleep. After all he was sick and his head still hurt a bit.

"Jungkook..?" Taehyung slowly opened the door to find Jungkook peacefully asleep on his bed. Taehyung watched as he slightly snored and couldn't help but chuckle. He looked so cute in Taehyung's eyes.

He opened the door a bit widely and entered the room. He was carrying a cup of warm tea and a plate of sandwiches. He felt like he had to make something for Jungkook to eat since he was sick. He put the plate and the cup on the dresser and looked at Jungkook.

Taehyung was feeling bad of not telling Jungkook the secret he had been keeping to himself for years now. But he felt like if he did, it would change their relationship forever. Maybe Jungkook would even end it.

He was scared of that, so he chose to stay silent and keep his sexuality to himself. Yes, it's true, he is gay. And he couldn't help but to fall in love with Jungkook. Ever since they've met, Taehyung tried so hard to ignore the feeling in his stomach growing bigger whenever Jungkook was around.

He once wanted to tell Jungkook. He really did. But he overheard Jungkook's talk with Hoseok about being straight and never thinking about anything except that. Taehyung lost hopes. He didn't want to change Jungkook for who he was, so he stayed silent, throwing lies and lies over again for this big secret.

It wasn't that big. It was just three words that Taehyung would have to say. But Jungkook was Jungkook. He was so mysterious in many ways so Taehyung had to be cautious of his actions towards Jungkook.

"You know it's kind of creepy when you stare at me like that?" Jungkook suddenly opened his eyes and Taehyung got caught. He gulped and turned his eyes everywhere but not Jungkook.

"Sorry. I was just going to check if you-"

"Stop using the same excuse Taehyung."

"I..uh.." Taehyung was loss at words.

"Anyways did you made me food?" He asked surprised when he saw the sandwich.

"Uh yes. Since you were sick I thought maybe you were hungry?" It came out more like a question than a statement.

"Yeah sure thanks Tae." Jungkook smiled a bit.

"Aren't you going to eat it?" Taehyung asked when Jungkook just blankly stared at it not doing anything.

"I will when you'll leave my room." He said. Taehyung was taken a bit by a surprise but he just nodded.

"Okay." He said and walked out. When he closed the door behind him, something inside, made him hurt a bit. Jungkook never said something like that to Taehyung. But maybe he just wanted to be alone? Probably that.
