I walked into the gym, bright and early like Harry said, carrying my bag. I didn't exactly know how to dress for fighting so I came in my regular gym clothes, nothing special.

I felt well rested for once and it was nice. It doesn't surprise me though considering I spent the entire day yesterday in bed resting and relaxing. Me and Harry were texting each other throughout the day and it surprised me how easy it was to talk to him about anything and everything.

I set my things down as I started my stretching routine. I had never fought anyone before. Hell I could barely have a verbal argument, so this should be interesting. I was nervous, but I trusted Harry. He took down Jessie so he obviously knew what he was doing. This was for the best though. I should have learned self-defense a long time ago.

As I was stretching out my legs, I saw Harry coming through the gym doors. I don't know why but my heart skipped a beat as soon as I saw him. I shook it off and just figured it was nerves from not knowing what to expect today.

"Good morning Riley!" He said as he smiled.

"Good morning Harry!" I said getting up off the floor. I returned the smile.

"Are you ready for today?" He said as he readjusted his bag.

"As ready as I'll ever be I guess." I said.

"Follow me." He said and turned to walk in the opposite direction.

Harry led me into a room towards the back of the gym that was basically empty besides a few weights here and there. I assumed the large amount of space this room had was perfect for fighting.

"Alright before we begin we need to warmup. Riley, get down and do 30 push ups." He said.

"What!? You told me we were going to fight, I never agreed to do push ups." I complained.

I hated push ups with every fiber of my being. I was awful at them.

Harry smirked.

"If you want to be successful in any type of self-defense you're going to need to build muscle in your arms."

"But..."

"No buts."

"I just don't understand wh..." I was cut off.

Before I could even process what was happening Harry was right next to me, one arm around my chest, and one of his legs in-between mine. He pushed his leg against the back of mine causing my knees to buckle underneath me. I instantly fell to the ground onto my back. I couldn't do anything except stare up at the ceiling wondering what the fuck just happened.

Harry squatted down next to me.

"Now you see, if you had been strong enough, you wouldn't have gone down and would have been able to fight me off." He said obviously very proud of himself.

I glared at him.

He laughed and stuck his hand out. I grabbed it and allowed him to pull me up off the ground.

"Fine. You made your point." I said brushing myself off.

"So we'll start off with 30 push ups, some pull ups, and sit ups." He said.

"I thought we were only working on arms?" I asked referring to the sit ups.

"Just wait you'll see. Alright now, let's try this again. 30 push ups Riley." He said.

I sighed and got onto the ground into position.

"1...2...3...4...5..." Harry counted out loud.
