It was a busy week.
There were highs. There were lows.
Highs. Luna was in and out of set, her friends deciding to visit in her least busy week. Though she had an idea that the director felt bad for her, so he spared her a few extra hours with them. She was fully back in the flow of being Veronica Lodge once more, missing the character all too much.
Her friends stayed at her rented house for a week, their days consisting of messing about in Luna's trailer or hanging around on set to watch her in action. Their nights were typically spent out for a group dinner, followed by a movie night until they all ended up passed out on the couch.
This excluded Harrison and Mia of course, who after Luna's pushing, actually went out on a date. And enjoyed themselves.. a lot. It took Mia all of five minutes being in the house for her to rope all the girls into one room before gushing about her date. It was a couple that took much too long to get together, but now that they were, everyone was happy.
Then came the lows. Following Iron Man 2, Jacob finally decided to give Luna back her phone, telling her something about Tom nagging him to give it back to her. She smiled when he said it, but when she reread the texts she sent beforehand, her smile was gone. It was an instinct to type 'love you' like it was something to casually be thrown around, but she wasn't sending it to someone who wouldn't care, she sent it to Tom.
This resulted in another abrupt girls meeting in a room, Luna frantically texting Tom while the girls consulted her. Worst of all, he didn't reply. To not a single text she sent. She sent an explanation. Nothing. She sent a long message about how she adored him. Nothing. She sent him pictures of her and their friends together, saying she wished he was there. Nothing.
The lack of texts from Tom was becoming unbearable, and by the time her friends had to leave, she'd gotten no response from him. It was like he dropped off the face of the earth, or at least off of Luna's earth.
Luna sighed, her knees pulled up to her chest as she stared longingly at the flowers in her trailer. "I scared him away," She mumbled, eyes not leaving the flowers. "Mia, what do I do? I'm 90% sure this is just him kindly breaking up with me."
Mia slowly looked away from her phone with a frown, locking it before scooting closer to her friend. "He's not breaking up with you," She cooed, hand rubbing Luna's back. "He may be an idiot, but he's not an asshole. He probably just needs time to process what you said."
Luna's frown deepened. "He has to think about wether he loves me or not?"
Mia paused. "I thought you said you sent it out of instinct?" Luna nodded. "You actually meant it?"
"Of course I did," She sighed, leaning her head against her knees. "Have you not seen me? I'm madly in love with the guy."
Mia fell silent, her eyes trailing back to her phone, secretly praying Harrison would call her seeing as she didn't get the chance to answer his texts. Like he had heard her, her phone began ringing, and she had to stop herself from letting out a sigh of relief. "It's Harrison," She informed Luna, to which the girl nodded, allowing her friend to leave her alone in her trailer.
"Couples," She mumbled sadly, eyes trailing down to the phone beside her. Slowly she picked it up, clicking on her texts with Tom. Not a single one being read. She released a heavy breathe before clicking on his contact.
