New York City was fairly big. Scratch that, it was huge. There was something new to do everywhere; walk the boardwalk at Coney Island, take a ferry to Liberty island, or perhaps something simple like riding the carousel in Flushing-Meadow park. Despite spending most of her life in this big city filled with many wonders, Luna Giraldo found bliss in her apartment.

It wasn't too much, an apartment in the nicer part of Queens, with a beautiful view of the East River. The exposed brick reminded Luna of her childhood home, photos of her family and friends hung around the house, along with gifts she's received from fans. Her home was typically filled with laughter, Mia and Liz using her apartment as an escape from their own homes, the two even having their own room. With all the madness of living in such a big city, this apartment brought her right back to reality.

And right now, it was her last day in New York before she went back to work in Los Angeles. It made sense she'd wanna spend her last day in her apartment, music playing loudly as she danced around with her boyfriend. Her mood would usually be tarnished, the thought of being separated from the man she loved being held responsible. But, both could agree they've grown closer through this trip, if possible. So instead of dwelling on being separated, they looked forward to when they would reunite again.

With all the stress Diana Giraldo brought upon them, one intentionally, and one unintentionally, it was safe to say they were relieved to just spend a day to themselves. The family dinner had taken an odd turn, the rest of the night spent in the waiting room, slumped in uncomfortable chairs. Luna had continued to apologize to Tom, feeling bad that he came to New York just to meet her family, and instead got stuck in the hospital with them. But his response made her heart warm up, a wide smile on her face for the remainder of the night. "It's better I meet baby Giraldo now, since I know we'll be babysitting in a couple years time."

She'd never really told him, but the way they openly spoke about a future together made her too happy to express in words. She had a rough past filled with lust overpowering love, and untrusting partners who held her sexuality against her. Her last relationship had been with Daniel Georgeson, a person who somehow managed to do both those things. He never allowed Luna to get to the point of loving him, which she was thankful for now, but at the time it was a pain. She wanted to love the person she was dating, not only feel a physical attraction. She wanted to appreciate their mind, not their body. But Daniel Georgeson had found a way to stop her from doing that. She still remembers his explanation when she caught him on her couch, a girl perched on his lap. "You could have been cheating with a girl and I wouldn't have even known; I had to beat you to it." The lack of love she had for him didn't stop the heartache she felt when seeing him lip-lock with another woman, but she got over it.

Tom was the exact opposite of Daniel, and she loved that. He constantly told the girl he loved her, insisting he never wanted her to forget that she had his heart to keep. And that one fateful night on facetime, at the brink of sleep where Luna had slipped into the conversation that she, like Spider-Man, swung both ways, Tom had laughed at her joke, before promising this wouldn't change the way he saw her. Their relationship, though it's had its ups and downs, was always filled with nothing but love.

Now, the two twirled around her apartment, a spotify playlist providing the music. Tom let out a laugh when Luna lost her footwork, landing on her bottom with a yelp. She pouted up at the boy, holding out her hands for him to help her up. He tugged her up effortlessly, the girl just about crashing into his chest. He kissed her nose before twirling her around, dramatically dipping her.

"You're a real Prince Charming, huh?" Luna grinned up at him.

Tom shrugged, lifting Luna back up. "Only for you."

"That's a relief," Luna chuckled, stepping out of Tom's arms to go over to her phone. They'd spent at least twenty minutes just messing around, shouting lyrics to songs they barely knew. It was a shock that Luna's neighbors have yet to complain. "Food?"

Arms wrapped around her waist, head resting on her shoulder. "Mhm," He hummed, Luna leaning into him. "This is nice, just spending time doing nothing. I'm so used to having my days planned."

She smiled slightly at this, turning her head to kiss his cheek. Both of their lives had been planned for them recently, seeing as they were busy filming. Luna had a routine she'd been following while on set, something she quickly got used to. As for Tom, his routine changed regularly, but still his days were planned. It was nice to have a day where nothing was planned at all, the two just going along with their day, doing things when they pleased.

While Luna scrolled through their options for dinner, a new song blared on her speaker. She hummed along to the beat for a few seconds before a smile spread on her face, recognizing the song. "It's hard to believe that I couldn't see, that you were always there beside me," She sang with a grin, leaning away to look at her boyfriend. Tom rolled his eyes at the girl, turning her to face him. Once again the two got distracted, the two dancing while Luna hummed to the song, giggles slipping whenever he'd spin her. When it came to a stop, he brought her back into his embrace, peppering her face with kisses.

"So dinner?" She chuckled, pulling away from him.

It didn't last very long, Tom wrapped around her once more. He pressed a kiss to her neck, before humming, "I'm thinking Brazilian."
