It's finally time for Hunter to preform and I'm shaking head to toe in excitement! The field was full of people, venders, music, and most of crawfish!

I was backstage helping Devo with the amps. "So you ready for the concert?" He asked. "Duh!" I said, he laughed. "What's your favorite songs?" "Hmm, that's tough. Well I really love Better Than This. Manly cause it describes my dream. To just pack up my bags and chase my dreams. Wether it's a dead end road or not." I said making sure the guitars are in tune.

Devo looked at me and grinned. "That's exactly the reason why he wrote it. It described him but he wanted to connect people who felt the same way." I smiled at his words. Hunter Hayes sure knows how to take the words right out of your mouth.

Hunter was now on stage, jumping, singing with passion, and ripping the guitar like no ones business! I of course was singing along and dancing around like a total fool. He has sung 4 of the new song on Encore, and now is singing Invisible. I had tears in my eyes, the song was so emotional and beautiful.

"Crowded hallways are the loneliest places

For outcasts and rebels

Or anyone who just dares to be different

And you've been trying for so long

To find out where your place is

But in their narrow minds

There's no room for anyone who dares to do something different

Oh, but listen for a minute

Trust the one

Who's been where you are wishing all it was

Was sticks and stones

Those words cut deep but they don't mean you're all alone

And you're not invisible

Hear me out,

There's so much more to life than what you're feeling now

Someday you'll look back on all these days

And all this pain is gonna be invisible

Oh, invisible

So your confidence is quiet

To them quiet looks like weakness

But you don't have to fight it

'Cause you're strong enough to win without a war

Every heart has a rhythm

Let yours beat out so loudly

That everyone can hear it

Yeah, I promise you don't need to hide it anymore

Oh, and never be afraid of doing something different

Dare to be something more

Trust the one

Who's been where you are wishing all it was

Was sticks and stones

Yeah, the words cut deep but they don't mean you're all alone

And you're not invisible

Hear me out,

There's so much more of this life than what you're feeling now

And someday you'll look back on all these days

And all this pain is gonna be invisible

These labels that they give you

just 'cause they don't understand

If you look past this moment

You'll see you've got a friend

Waving a flag for who you are

And all you're gonna do

Yeah, so here's to you

And here's to anyone who's ever felt invisible

Yeah, and you're not invisible

Hear me out,

There's so much more to life than what you're feeling now

And someday you'll look back on all these days

And all this pain is gonna be invisible

It'll be invisible" he sang so beautifully.

The concerts now over and I was helping my dad when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw my hero right in front of me. A little sweaty but dressed in a new outfit. My eyes widen, he chuckled. "Are you Melody?" I nodded and blushed at how stupidly shy I'm being.

"It's nice to meet you, Devo and Matt told me a lot about you." "R-Really? I hope they are good things." He chuckled and nodded. "I was wondering if you wanted to grab some coffee tomorrow? I'll be home for a month, spread sometime with family."

I smiled wide. "I'd love too!" He smiled and handed me his IPhone, "mind if I have your number, us know so I can um give you the time and place?" He said while scratching the back of his neck. I giggled and nodded, typing in my info and sending myself a text.

"There ya go" I said handing his phone back. "Great. See you tomorrow." "See ya." We hugged and he went back to his your bus. I turned back with the biggest grin on my face. My dad laughed. "Your already head over heels" I rolled my eyes. "Dad don't start please! Just let me dream!" We laughed and continue working. All that was on my mind was what I was gonna say to him tomorrow. I finally get to tell him about how he has saved me. Tomorrow needs to hurry!
