Dreams Of Coffee

A/N: I am SO sorry for not updating for so long! With this chapter I am gonna do it a little different, please comment if you want me to do it for the whole story.

Today is the day that Melody will be having coffee at her favorite café with her life saver. She's all prepped and ready, except she isn't ready to face him. She's so nervous that she's gonna make a fool of herself. Her awkwardness shinning through.

Finally after the last piece of hair placed, she grabbed her keys and shades and walked out. She climbs in her car, turns on the radio. Automatic by Miranda Lambert came on.

As she cruised down to the café, singing at the top of her lungs, she got a text from Hunter.

"Hey! Just made it to the café! Can' wait to you :)"

It made Melody's heart flutter, the fact that he actually showed up made her get butterflies, but know that he couldn't wait to see her made it even more exciting.

She finally pulled into the Café. She took a deep breath before she walked into the building. Sweet smells of coffee beans and fresh cookies filled the air. The sound of orders and people chattering. It was the best café in her opinion.

She looked around before she spotted the blue eyed cutie. She slowly walked up to him. He looked up at her and smiled.

"Hey!", he stood and gave Mel and big hug. She returned the hug of course.

"Hey!" She returned. They both sat down and a waitress's of their order. Coffee of course.

"It is so crazy to be sitting here I front of my hero" Mel confessed. Hunter smiled. "It's really great to be able to be one on one with a fan, I'm no hero." He said.

"Trust me, you are a hero to a lot of people, especially me. You have gotten me through a lot of things, you've saved me from the side of me that I didn't like so much. You showed me that I don't need to be a certain body type, skin color, style expert. I just need to be me. You gave me all the love I need just through your songs. I can't exactly put into words how you saved me. Just know that you are in fact a hero." Mel poured her heart out the best she could. She was never good with putting her feelings to words.

Hunter reached out and held her hand over the small table that was in between them. "I'm proud to be your hero. You are a incredible human being. I love you and all my fan with all my heart. Without you I would be the person that I am. I write the song that I wrote because I want people to know that I have been there. I have thought basically everything you have ever thought. I was a complete nerd and I still am. I never really had a lot of friends or people to hang with. It was me and music. Now I have a big, humongous family. I love each and every one of you." He said with all the passion he had in him. Melody could tell, because they both had a tiny bit of water in their eyes.

Melody squeezed his hand. "I love you, Hunt." He smiled and kissed her hand sweetly. "I love you too".

The rest of the evening the two shared stories, laughs, and got a great start to a great friendship.
