"Well if I tell you where we are going, that would just ruin the surprise baby." Connor responds to Jessica's question with a wink.

Jessica rolls her eyes because he came up with another surprise "date." It's not a date though. They aren't dating, just being friends. Friends that hang out with each other and use nicknames for each other. Right? Right.

"Why do you keep calling me pet names like we're dating? It's weird, you weirdo." She says with a playful smile on her face.

"I don't know, Jess. It just feels right I guess, it just flows out like that."

They walk to her driveway and she finds a truck, not the car from before. They both get in and Connor starts the vehicle. It sounds old and beat up. Jessica hopes it doesn't break down on this "date" of theirs.

"Is this your truck too?" Jessica asks Connor in curiosity.

"No, it's my buddy's truck but he let me borrow it tonight. He owed me a favor anyways." He responds, sparking curiosity inside Jessica's mind. Why did his friend owe him a favor?

As Connor is driving to wherever he is going, Jessica looks around the truck. There's three seats behind them but there isn't much leg room. In those three seats are blankets and pillows. There's some tools on the floor of the truck, along with a bag. It doesn't look like there's anything in the bed of the truck from her seat.

"What are you looking at?" Connor asks.

"I'm just looking around the truck. I'm a nosey person, I'm sorry." She replies.

"You don't have to apologize for being nosey. I am too and I'm surely not apologizing for it." He gives Jessica a small smile. Jessica blushes at the sight of Connor smiling and looking at her face intently.

"Connor, you should be watching the road, not my face." Jessica speaks quietly.

They finally arrive at a ticket booth.

"Two tickets for Finding Nemo, please." Connor says to the person outside his window. Jessica puts two and two together. They are at a drive-in movie and he borrowed this truck to lay in the back. He hands the person money and takes the tickets. He looks at Jessica quickly and smiles.

"We're seeing Finding Nemo?" She asks with a small smile on her face.

"Yeah, I hope that's okay. And I hope you like drive-in movies."

"It is more than okay and I absolutely love drive-in movies!" They both start laughing at her excitement.

"Do you want to help me with the blankets and pillows?" He asks. Jessica nods her head as a response and gets out of the truck. She opens the small back door and starts grabbing blankets. Connor is in the back of the truck. She hands him one blanket at a time while he tries to make it comfortable as possible.

"There's a bag of snacks behind your seat, can you hand that to me too, please?" Jessica hands him the bag and closes the truck. She hops into the bed of the trunk and gets situated next to Connor. They are both sitting straight up as the movie starts.

About a quarter of the way through the movie, Connor lays down. They both snacked a little bit already.

"You should lay down and get comfortable, it's a long way to the end of the movie." Connor suggests.
