A Star Has Risen

Chapter 1
(7 years later )
Rachel's pov:
I took my final bow for the night and walked off stage . I was living the dream in NYC and I couldn't ask for a better life . These past 25 years I've been working so hard and now it's finally paying off . I got back to my dressing room , took my Fanny wig off , got into some comfy clothes and sat down and ate pizza and started reading my fan mail . Little girls and boys writing and telling me how much they love and adore and are inspired by me and I always write back and tell them just to be themselves . My life is heaven . Anyway I was sitting in my room eating and reading when I can across a letter from someone I hadn't heard from in years , Kurt Hummel.  I opened the letter and immediately began to read .

"Dear Rachel,
I know it's been 7 years since we've talked but it's urgent that you come back home . You see it's Finn, he's depressed , he's been a mess for years and last week he had to go to rehab . We found... we found him in his room .... ready to hang himself from a rope . He's been a mess ever since we graduated, he lost you and that was it . I know you have a better life now , and you have every right not to care but , he needs you Rachel , you are his person , his star , please come home .

I put down the letter and I could feel the tears coming on , it had been years since Finn and I had been in contact , in fact it's been years since I've seen any of my old friends. I sat there for a moment and thought about Finn. I thought about glee club and I thought about the girl I once was . I wasn't that broken hearted girl anymore but deep down I did miss my friends . I sighed and picked up the phone and called my agent .

"Hi, Andrea . I need one ticket to Lima Ohio . It's time for this star to go back home ."
