The Show

Chapter 9
(Opening Night 5 years ago)
Rachel's pov:
It was after my show and I was in my dressing room when there was a knock.

"Come in!" I said happily .

"Hi."

I turned around and standing there was Finn Hudson , my ex, in a uniform.

"Finn, hi." I said shocked .

"You did amazing Rachel ." He said giving me a hug.

"Thanks but what are you doing here?" I asked him .

"Did you really think I miss your opening night ?" He asked me .

"Honestly, I never invited you." I said bitterly .

He looked down and said ,

"Rachel , I'm sorry about everything. I'm sorry I hurt you , please forgive me ." He begged .

"It's been 2 years Finn . 2 freaking years I haven't heard from you and now you just show up to my opening night without any warning expecting me to forgive you!" I said upset .

"Rachel I didn't know how to reach you." He said .

"You could've called! You could've gotten my number from Sam or Kurt . Or better yet you could've wrote me like I've been writing to you ! You could've texted , sent a post card! Anything to let me know that you were alive ." I said hitting him with flowers .

"You think I didn't want to call you, that I didn't want to write back or text or send a god damn post card because I did but I didn't have the fucking words . I didn't know what to say because time we talked you broke up with me ! How could I have the courage to talk to you when everything I wanted to say was already said the day we broke up!" He yelled at me .

I looked at him and said ,

"You know Finn , I'm starting to come to the conclusion that you're just a coward ." I said hurtfully .

"Well there it is . You've finally said what you've been thinking all these years . You know what Rachel you're just a cold hearted bitch!" He said .

I slapped him and said ,

"Get the fuck out of my dressing room! Get the hell out and never come back!" I told him .

He looked at me in shock and said ,

"I'm sorry I didn't ...."

"Just get out Finn , get out and never come back you coward ." I said .

He looked at me and said ,

"Goodbye Rachel ." And left .

I slammed my door and broke down and cried because I knew it would be the last time I saw him .
