R.O.A.R: the new monster rookies?

bighit recently gave us a new set of idols to adore, with cute personalities, but also a ferocious debut. their first mini album 'into the woods' was an excellent way of introducing themselves to the world, 'hard carry' talking about their teamwork and dedication, and the other songs generally being just catchy songs. but, the real question is: will they ever be as popular as their label mates?

they currently haven't received any awards, but we are anticipating one soon, seeing as how amazing their debut song was. they take after their label mates, kim namjoon aka rap monster & min yoongi aka suga or agust d, for composing their own songs, as main vocalist ji yochanan nohmin has currently written all of the songs on their mini album, assisted by a couple of other members for the individual song lyrics as well. he said in an interview with the magazine 'hello! debut': "we enjoy having the freedom of composing our own songs, it gives us a chance to express our thoughts and emotions, rather than writing something that people have heard twenty times before...we hope to soon delve into topics like bts have done, but - for now - we will focus on creating quality songs that people can listen to daily and still have that same excited feeling when they first listen over and over again."

R.O.A.R have only recently finished their promotions, ending with a special stage of their song 'queen', but everyone is already hyping up the next album that yochanan has only just started working on! however, it has been revealed that there may be a different concept being shown in the next album, and we cannot hold in the excitement any longer! when will the month roll around of their comeback?

maybe they'll win an award with this next comeback, who knows? either way, lets hope they're getting the rest they deserve, they have really made their mark on the kpop industry. what else do they have hiding up their sleeves?

if you haven't heard of R.O.A.R yet, then you're most likely living under a rock. they are a group of seven individuals who are under bighit entertainment, and have just finished promotions for their first mini album 'into the woods' - which, in my opinion, was a great album.

i was intrigued by this new boy group, they looked so professional and prepared as rookies, so i decided to look into them. nothing seemed too weird, they were normal boy group releasing fairly normal songs. but, it wasn't until i watched their appearance on the popular show 'after school club' that i felt that something was off.

it looked like the members didn't want to be there. they had happy faces, but to me they didn't look genuine. i know, many groups act like that because they didn't get enough sleep, or a situation similar, but i have more evidence that may or may not back this up.

they all wear chokers and hats in the interview, which isn't their fault. it's just a fashion statement, like yochanan said - or is it? when jinwoo was answering a question, he paused partway through a sentence to grit his teeth together. it is kind of confusing, but why did he grit his teeth? was he thinking of an answer? or was something there to hurt him? i'm not confirming this, it's just my conspiracy theory.

honestly, i just hope the manager's treating these boys alright. they have such amazing talents that can't be put to waste, and they can become so successful if they carry on. pets fighting!
