Zayn's POV

"Where are we going?" I asked. Sofia stood next to me, scanning the area. Her curls were riled up and she had a determined look on her face. She glanced behind us before looking in front again. I watched her, waiting for her to answer.

"I just … okay. If I was Alec, where would I be?" she asked herself. She sounded a bit frustrated. She thought for a moment before turning to me.

"Is there a zoo here? Or something like an aquarium?" she asked. I took out a map of Brugge that we got from the bus guy and licked my lips, reading through it.

"I dunno. Why? Is he into that type of stuff?" I asked, flipping the pages.

"Yeah. He's studying to be an Ecologist." she said. I nodded, looking back to the paper. I spared a look at her to see her uselessly searching the streets with her eyes.

"Hey, don't worry. We'll find him." I said, feeling the need to comfort her. She met my eyes and I could see the concern in them. She held my eye contact before nodding and taking a deep breath. I could tell she was a bit unconvinced considering we've been searching for him all day.

"I hope you're right." she mumbled to herself, "So, where next?" she asked. I looked back down at the pamphlet. I turned the page and something caught my eye.

"Museum of Animal Environment and Behaviour?" I asked. I looked at her to see her eyes light up in the slightest.

"Let's try it." she said. I nodded. We had already checked into the hotel this morning, dropping our bags in our room. Yes, room. Sofia didn't want to spend too much money and I finally persuaded her to let me pay for the room. So she decided that she wasn't letting me pay for two rooms when I obviously have enough money.

We found a tour guide who seemed to be on break and asked him if he would help us find the place. He agreed. Although he was a tour guide, it took us an hour to actually find the place. It was massive and we passed it about four times but being the great tour guide he was, insisted that it was, and I quote, "Down the road a bit more, past those cars. There is sometimes a red car that parks in front of it." Apparently he didn't understand the concept that cars can drive and that they tend to park in different areas a lot of the time. We got to the same building that we had walked passed loads of times and he proudly stated that this was the building.
