I sat in the chains, they chained me like I was a damn dog. The cuff around my neck made it almost hard to swallow my own bloody spit.

I had to do this, she needed to be safe.

"I shouldn't have ever drug her into this she would be still safe.... She would have found someone that would be safe around" I hung my head back.

"But you love her kitty" his voice drifts to my ears, even cut up they twitch. I twist on my knees as a soft blue glow surround him.

"Mario" I rasp out, his face lights up with that smile that had me fall for him way back in the day.

"Fringe you can't let them do this" he moves closer and crouched in front of me.

"But if I fight they will kill her Mario I can't let them take another one of the ones I love I'm so sorry I shouldn't have left you unprotected it's my fault your gone it's all my fault" I choke out as blood forms in the corners of my eyes and drop down my cheeks. His soft hand reached out and wipes them away.

"I died protecting you I couldn't have wished a better way to end my reign kitty you have to know that I have always protected you please do not feel sorrow for me" I lean into his hands and cry out.

"It is my fault it's my fault your dead! And I can't ever get my best friend back!" The pain throbs in my chest as if my unbeating heart itself caved in. "it's all my fault!" He holds my head.

"You listen to me kitty you stop this now that girl still needs you, your the true king and you need to fight this!" His voice makes my ears ring as he stood up. "let him loose Fringe" my eyes open and look at him knowing who he was talking about.

"Yashi" I whisper and a smile fills Mario lips.

"I leave you now kitty" he kissed the top of my head his blue glow begins to fade, my head hangs low.

"Far well old friend" my horns began to form as my eyes turn red and my bones crack and move in place.

"Yashi I release you" I growl
