Monday. Help me now. Ugh, why do I even care? Wait! That's not my thoughts. It is...It's my old thoughts... Did what happened yesterday scruw me up again?

**

I head downstairs after getting ready and take a seat at the table. I'm the fourth one there. Alfie, Jerome and Patricia are all already here. After taking my seat, Trudy finishes laying out the food as everyone else arrives. I can tell there's an awkward tension but it's not bothering me.

"Morning..." Eddie says to me, slightly trailing off at the end. "Hi." I reply plainly, not even giving him a glance as I finish putting toast and scrambled eggs on my plate.

**

I gathered my bag and folder from my room and went downstairs again. I walk past what seemed to be Eddie and Amber with Fabian and walk out the door even though I can hear both Jerome, from further away, and Amber calling me.

I felt a hand lightly tug on my shoulder and I stopped, half turned to face Jerome. "Why didn't you stop back there?" He asked with concern. I unintentionally gave my eyes a small roll and turned around to continue walking. Jerome kept up next to me and everyone else was leaving, either behind or in front of us.
"Are you just ignoring me?" He asked. "No." I said bluntly. "So, why didn't you stop back there?" He repeated his question. I rolled my eyes, "Because, unlike some people, I actually want to do well in this school. Unlike my last." I whispered the last part. Everyone was listening from Anubis house. "Was that to me? I want to do well." He said, starting to get confused and angry. "Yes, Jerome." I said sarcasticly. "Now leave me alone or it'll be the last time you ever see that fav jumper of yours alive." I said and picked up my walking pace. He'd stopped and stared at me in unter shock, so did everyone else.

-time skip-
It was last class, I had science and I was sat next to Jerome and Patricia. "Hey, Y/N! Nice one this morning." She said and fist bumped me over the gap between the tables. "Not really." Jerome muttered, only for himself but I heard. "Shut up, Jerome. Nobody wants to hear you talk right now." I said partcially savage like. He looked at me with unter shock again. I chose to ignore him.

"Right class! Who would like to help with this practical? Anyone? How about you, Y/N?" Mr sweet asked. "Sir, just because I helped once, doesn't mean I want to again." I slightly laughed. "But you're so good." He replied. "I'm not some teachers pet which you can make do whatever you want, Sir. I will not take orders from an old teacher like you." I said and emphasised the s on sir. He looked at me with astonishment as the whole class ooood, except Jerome. "Right! Go to my office this instant!" He boomed accross the class room making everyone shut up. I gave a whatever face and grabbed my stuff, leaving to sit outside Mr Sweets office until the class finished.

**

After school, I sat in Sweet's office and for some reason we were waiting. Victor arrived and took the seat next to me, to which I gave a small sigh. "Don't sigh at me young lady!" Victor boomed. "Alright. I brought you here because Y/N has been very different from herself. She said some rather hurtful and rude comments in class and I wish for it to be sorted." Mr Seeet told victor while looking at us both. I chewed my gum to which victor made me spit out in the bin and then just decided to apologise. "I'm sorry, Sir. I'm under some stress right now and I took it out on the wrong person. I'm really sorry." The last line was sarcasticly said but they didn't notice. "Alright. I'll let you off but if I hear you say anything of the sort to anyone at this school again, you will be in detention." He said and I nodded. He told me to leave so I left.

**

I walked out of school to see Jerome standing against a wall. I continued to walk after a second of a pause. He walked beside me. "Get into trouble?" He asked. "No." I said plainly. "Lucky you. You always get out of trouble which is why I love doing pranks with you. Unlike Alfie..." He stated. I didn't reply. He looked at me from the corner of his eye.

Jerome's POV:
Something was different inside her. I had to put my finger on it. Was she trying to push everyone away so she could close up again? "What's up?" I asked her. She looked at me for a split second then back to the ground. "Nothing." She replied. I waited a few seconds then did something I shouldn't of. I pulled her away into this unused building near the school. "Hey! Get off me!" She yelled. "Shush...Do you want to get caught?" I asked the same way I did the night of the dance. She gave me a death glare then tried to push past me out the door. I stood in her way. "Move!" She persisted. "Not until you tell me what's up?" I replied.
