A New Foe

Jeremy P.O.V.
I realized I bumped into a girl with a green uniform and a black skirt. As soon as I saw her I couldn't move. It was Heather Duke, Heather and Veronica told me about her. For all I know she's bad news, so I need to find a way to avoid her as much as possible. "Hey asshole. I said move it already!" Duke had yelled at me. I may have flinched a bit, so I quickly got up and scattered to my locker. "This is going to be bad for me. If Duke finds out about my whole,'incident,' I'm screwed..." I had thought to myself. 'Do not worry Jeremy, I will make sure that the issue will go away.' I heard Squip reassure me. 'Yes. It is my purpose to make sure you keep all your emotions in check. So Jeremy try to take a deep breath to calm down.' GSquip added. Doing as instructed to take a deep breath, I felt a bit more calm and sighed in relief.

Narrator P.O.V.
As Jeremy walked through the halls he finally made his way to his locker. As he made sure everything was in order he felt someone kiss he cheek and knew Michael was there. "Hey Michael. So I'm guessing you already know what we're facing." Jeremy asked a bit calmly. "Yeah, Veronica told me about it earlier. By the way we should go swing by to check on them." Michael had suggested. As the couple waled towards the stairway they saw Heather and Veronica talking. Jeremy waved at them with a smile on his face. "Oh morning Jeremy." Heather said cheerfully as always. "How are you guys taking the news?" Michael asked the two girls. "We could be better, but besides that good." Veronica laughed a little to try and lighten the mood.
Michael P.O.V.
"Anyways did any of you guys have a run in with her?" I had asked out in complete curiosity. "No, surprisingly. And I hope it stays that way." Veronica scoffed. Yes, I knew what they went through because of Duke. But if that monster finds out the 'Squip Incident' I know Jeremy will be having a hard time. As I glanced over at Jeremy he looked nervous, and wasn't really looking happy. "Hey Jer, are you okay?" I had asked with worry taking his hands in mine. "Y-yeah. Just had a run in with Duke earlier." Jeremy manages to say, but stutters. I felt angry knowing that Duke had messes with my boyfriend. But instead decided to not let it show, so I remains calm for Jeremy's sake. "Jeremy don't worry about it. I doubt she'll want to do anything that'll get her kicked out of school, again." Heather had explained trying to make him feel better. I'm just glad Jeremy has friends who care about him. When the bell rang for class I frowned. I don't have any classes with Jeremy, but at least Heather does. I only have one class with Veronica. So as we parted ways I gave Jeremy a final hug before leaving. Being in his arms always make me feel calm. For the most of class I just listen to Bob Marley on my headphones. I started to fall asleep in class slowly, even though Veronica kept trying to wake me up. It failed and I knocked out and slept for the duration of class.
