Alina's POV

The breeze inside the arcade was beautiful - I felt like a mermaid lost at see, her hair flailing out behind her in the sudden whoosh of oxygenated air. The ice cream made it, though.

I chose plain old vanilla. The creamy richness of it helped to blow my worries away in the darkened room and the coolness made the heat of warm bodies seem like nothing. Maria was enjoying flirting with buff guys whilst Delia stood beside me, looking shy and out of her depth - she was always like this around strangers: timid, daydreaming and pretty.

Louisa, on the other hand, was chatting to Ryan. On the inside, I guessed I kind of shipped them - Rysa, it had a kind of ring to it.

"Hey, Delia, come and meet Kaleb!" Maria slurred as she staggered towards us, holding onto the guy, Kaleb, for dear life. "He gave me some synthetic crack he made! Wanna try?" That explained the wooziness of her.  But, Delia shook her head, frowning, declining the small package in front of her. Now, Maria was starting to take chances.

"Hey, Del, I'm gonna go out my napkin in the bin. Be back in a sec." She nodded and smirked as I walked away towards the bin. Then I saw the bastard of this arena.

Connor. Always Connor.

And Marcus.

I put my dirty napkin in the bin as my nostrils retracted in anger. He always had to turn up where he was least wanted. Whisking round, heading back to my sister, I couldn't help but lift a feeling - every time he was around, something bad happened.

Then I realised why I felt that way.

Delia wasn't there. Maria had disappeared and Louisa and Ryan had gone from their vantage point. "Del? Lou? Maria? Delia? Louisa? Maria? Anyone? DELIA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I could feel my pores sweating and my face reddening.

"I'm here, baby. I can be whoever you want me to be." A guy shoved himself up against me and crushed his lips against mine - I tried to claw him off of me, but he was too toned and muscular and I was nothing except a tiny little fly. I felt him touching my breasts and butt and then trying to get inside my clothes.

I was helpless.

Until someone grabbed him and punched his face as hot bodies didn't even bat an eyelash at the out breaking fight.

But, I couldn't see my saviour through the tears running from my eyes.

Then I smelt him. Grass, trees, nature and sweat.

Wiping my eyes, I looked up at him - it was Marcus.

"Thanks." I stammered, making sure to not sound scared.

"You shouldn't be thanking me." He nodded behind me and, as I turned, I got the biggest surprise of my life.

Connor?

Yep, definately Connor.

I shrugged Marcus off me and stormed off, I couldn't bare the thought of a Drew saving me.

But, I didn't have time to think about it. A smell of nothingness enveloped my senses as a hand and cloth clamped around my mouth and nose.

I could feel myself going before I was gone.
