Alina's POV
I awoke in a glacial room, with my hands and feet tied onto the uncomfortable plastic chair that I was sitting on.
At first, it seemed that I was alone, but nothing could mask the heavy breath of a guard stood directly behind me. "Where am I?" I got out, my throat feeling like fire was travelling down it at high speed.
The guard whacked my head, making me wince and shrink into the chair - I could feel the blood trickling slowly from the wound he had just made: it was warm and thick on the back of my neck. "Imprisoned."
"Why? Are you going to throw me out?" I could hear the laugh that escaped his lips.
"Yes - scared much?" Again, he laughed. "But, I can offer you a deal, Reformer scum. A little bit 'a sugar to get me through the day and maybe then I won't hurt ya too much, eh?"
"That's disgusting."
"Not as disgusting as your body when I am finished beating it up." He came round to face me as he licked his lips - ew. Grabbing the tops of my thighs, he leaned closer so that I could smell his pungent breath. "What'd'ya say?"
I turned my head away, hastily - too hastily.
He grabbed it, squeezing my cheeks. "Ha! Come on, I know you want me, baby."
"Miss Alina Riley." Jude Drew marched into my cell, his eyes swollen and his face haggard, startling the guard. "Ah, we have a lot to talk about."
"I am not going to tell you anything about anyone - just get this shit over with." He shook his head, smirking.
"It is never that easy. Miss Riley, you will tell us things or I will hurt not you, but your sisters and friends - just remember that we have them in our hands too."
"Don't hurt them!" I winced because I had cracked under his empty threat. "I mean, they could tell you things too." But the damage was already done.
"Ha! You care about them but they don't care about you. Maria was willing, Ryan was willing, Louisa struggled but was also willing. It was only you and Delia that aren't willing. Delia said that she would never give in - Mr Carlos, bring her in." With a flick of his hand, the door to my cell once again whisked open and my disheveled sister was forced through.
Bruises covered her arms, legs and probably, by the way she was holding herself, her torso too. Nothing was on her face, making her still the perfect sister. "Alina! They haven't done anything to you, have they?" I knew what she meant.
"Oh, not yet. But we will if neither of you spill." Jude crowed.
"You're going to throw us out to bite the dust anyway. Why not do it quicker?" I sniggered - big mistake.
The guard who had tried to get it on with me smacked me round the head, expecting it to scare me into an explanation.
"You aren't going to tell us anything, are you?" We both shook our heads and immediately wished we hadn't because what came next was unbearable.
"Guard, do as you wish and in one hour, we will throw all of you out of here."
Delia was shoved back out of my cell as the guard intercepted me and came down to my height.
"You're gonna regret turning me down the first time, baby."
