What Actually Happened In Set (Cadie)

1. Season 2 cast meets

-10/17/16-
It was finally the day, the cast was meeting again and they were finally meeting the new cast too. They were going to a nice dinner in a nice restaurant.

Sadie was feeling nervous. She has never been a good speaker, and she felt she wasn't going to fit in. She had already met Gaten and Caleb years ago when they were all on Broadway but they never were actually friends.
Caleb was really excited to see his cast mates again, he missed them a lot.

Matt: Good evening everyone! I'm so excited to finally be working with all of you again. And I also can't wait to see how the new characters turn.

Millie went running and hugged Matt and Ross, the writers and producers of the show. Following her, Gaten, Caleb, Noah and Finn went too.

Shawn: And where is my hug?

They all turned around and run to hug Shawn.

When they got out of the lovely hug Gaten noticed the red head standing near the door.

Gaten: Hi Sadie! I'm Gaten, you already know me.

Gaten said with his adorable toothless smile.

Sadie: Hi Gaten.

Sadie said shyly. She was trying really hard to be social but it was a real struggle for her.

Millie: Hi Sadie! I'm so happy I'm not longer the only girl. We will be really good friends, I promise.

Millie said with a friendly smile on her face. Hearing that made Sadie feel welcomed and loved.

Finn: Come on! You loved being the only girl because we're awesome!
Millie:Yeah sure Finn.

Millie answered laughing.

Caleb: Welcome to our awesome squad.

Caleb said trying to sound cool. That made Sadie and Millie giggle.

-Minutes later, after the rest of the cast presented themselves. They were already sitting in two large tables. In one the producers, directors, adult cast and others, and in the other the younger cast.-

Millie: The dishes are really big, Sadie do you want to share the beef of meat with potato chips and veggies?

In that moment, Sadie got frightened. She didn't want to ruin the good first impression she did. But she had too.

Sadie: I'm vegan.

At the instant Sadie said that. All the kids turned around to her with a surprised face. It was weird for them to see someone of their age with that lifestyle.

Sadie: Yeah, I don't eat meat, dairy, eggs...

Finn interrupted her.

Finn: We know what a vegan is!
Noah: You're vegan? That's so cool!
Caleb: And what will you eat?

Sadie got the menu card in her shaking hands. She looked for the vegan part. The restaurant had a vegan and vegetarian menu, which made it easier for Sadie to find something to eat.

Sadie: I'll have this.

She said pointing at a vegan meal.

-Minutes later, while they were eating.-

Millie: Can I try some? I want to see how a vegan meal tastes like.
Sadie: It tastes like any other food, just without animal products.

Millie had a little bite of the vegan food.

Millie: Woah this actually tastes really nice. I want to be vegan now.

Sadie laughed in a friendly way.

Gaten: I'm pescatarian. I don't eat meat, but I do eat fish.
Noah: I didn't know that. Since when?
Gaten: Since some weeks ago.

Gaten said while he took a bite of his fishy meal. That comment made Sadie feel a lot better, it made her feel she wasn't that different.

Caleb: And why would you go vegan? Meat is delicious!

Sadie got slightly offended but she let it pass and tried to think how to answer.

Sadie: Well, I think we shouldn't eat other animals and we shouldn't harm them in anyway. They're a really important part of the planet and without them we could die. And they're also so adorable!
Finn: But Sadie, plants have feelings too.

In the few months she had been a vegan, Sadie had heard that stupid comment a lot. And it really annoyed her. But again, she let it pass but not all of it.

Sadie: Since when you care about feelings? You're eating a cow right now, and it has feelings, just like the plants you just mentioned.

Finn looked ashamed while the other kids and Sadie started laughing. Finn offered a apologize handshake to her which she accepted.

Caleb: That was really good Sadie, I didn't remember you that savage.

Gaten nods to agree with what Caleb said.

Noah: Halloween is coming up, do you guys want to go together treak or treating? Just like we did last year.
Millie: Sounds good to me.
Sadie: That would be fun.
Caleb: Sounds good! And it looks like I'll have the best costume again this year.
Gaten: Nope that's not happening Caleb.

They all agreed on going out on Halloween night.

Finn: Sadie do you have any siblings?
Sadie: Yes, I have three older brothers and a six years old sister.
Millie: Three older brothers? Oh I feel bad for you.
Sadie: I feel bad for me too.

They both laughed.

-It was getting late and they started saying goodbye to each other.-

Noah: It was nice to meet you Sadie and Dacre.
Dacre: It was nice to meet you children.

Dacre answered with his tired Australian accent. Dacre was tired because of the time difference between Australia and California.

Finn: Goodbye vegan Annie.
Sadie: Bye Finn.

Though sometimes his comments offended her, she liked meeting Finn and she was happy to work with him as with the rest of the cast.

-After saying goodbye to everyone, Sadie went back to her apartment with her mom. She had a really good time, and she felt like she fitted in. That night she went to sleep in a satisfied mood-
