Headmaster BlackWood gazed down at the crystal Viewer. Something was wrong. The Forests were stirring the first time in many years, the Land of the Undead was unsettled, and...something else. Something he couldn't put his finger on directly, but he knew it was there.
"But what could it be?" He whispered to himself.
Suddenly, his alarms went off. He whipped around, and sped over to the student Gazers.
"Student interaction after curfew." The Gazer reported.
"Well, who is it then?" He questioned.
"Rowan MaëGold and Oryn Cerulean sir. "
"Ah. It's fine. They've been doing this for years now." He told the Gazer.
"Alright." The Gazer turned on her post and went back into the All Seeing World in her mind.
"Wait! I mean....Wait, dear Gazer, do you...do you see any oncoming danger in the future?" He asked.
But it was too late. It was impossible to wake a Gazer from her mind unless she herself had something to say.
He sighed, and flopped onto the old love seat in the corner of his office.
"Have you ever wondered..." He said to himself. "Why Rowan has such a peculiar last name? We Fae have colors and plants in our names, nothing like MaëGold. Maybe her mother was lovesick over another type of Fae. Maybe she misspelled it when she applied for school, and it was actually MayGold. Maybe.....maybe.....maybe..." He rambled on, until he drifted to sleep.
