When I’m tired will you carry me to bed
Lay me down gently
Kiss the top of my head?
When my muscles are tired will you massage the knots
Loosen the stress
Hit all the tight spots?
When I’m feeling down will you cheer me up
Pour out your happiness
And fill my cup?
When I’m thinking too much will you help calm me
Slow down the synapses
And help me just be?
When the world is getting too heavy will you carry this weight
If it’s twisting my path
Will you help make it straight?
If I just want to escape will you take me away
Lead me somewhere new
But please will you stay?
