Aphmau's Pov -

In the present, in Phoenix Drop :

"Mommy!"

I slowly opened my eyes to see Alina, my 7-year-old daughter, jumping on my bed.

"Alina, no jumping, remember?" I sat up and stretched my arms out.

"But mommy, today is the first day of first grade! And, and, there's a new girl from O'Khasis! I want to be her friend! Oh! And you're going to be there at school too!" Alina exclaimed.

"From O'Khasis? That's on the other side of the country." I said. "Oh well, why don't we get ready?" I got out of my bed and picked Alina up.

"Mommy! I'm not a baby anymore, I can walk by myself!" She giggled.

"But you're still mommy's baby!" I giggled while walking into the bathroom.

At Alina's school, Phoenix Drop Elementary :

I parked at the teachers' parking lot. Before I went out of my car, I looked at the school invitation. Special guests are me, A. Phe from the Phoenix Headquarters, and G. Ro'meave from the Ro'meave Resorts&Inn. 'G. Ro'meave'? Ro'meave sounds kind of familiar, I think.

"Mommy, let's go!" Alina exclaimed.

"O-Oh! Yeah okay!" I placed the invitation down and got out of the car.

Alina too went out and grabbed my hand. She pulled me until the entrance.

I looked down at Alina. "Slow down Ali-- Woah!" I looked up at the school and shed a tear of happiness. "It's just like how I imagined. So beautiful."

"Aphmau!" I heard my name from inside the school court.

I looked around to find who was calling me until I saw Emmalyn, waving at me. I went into the school court and walked towards Emmalyn who was in front of a bunch of students.

"Ayeee! Emmy!" I exclaimed and hugged her.

"Aphmau!" Emmalyn hugged back. "It's been too long!"

I pulled back from the hug. "Yeah, how are you?"

"Oh you know, I'm still married to Kenmur." She showed me her wedding ring. "And apparently Alina here is my student!"

"Yay! Hi miss Emmalyn!" Alina waved at her.

Emmalyn crouched to Alina's height. "Hi Alina, you're going to stand next to Raven here, the new student from O'Khasis." She presented a little with cerulean eyes and blond hair with a strip of cerise-coloured hair.

"Okay! Bye bye mommy!" Alina hugged me and went beside the girl.

I nudged Emmalyn. "Doesn't she look familiar?"

"Well yeah, it's Gar--" She tried to say but my phone was ringing.

I checked who it was, it was Katelyn. "Sorry Em, I think I have to go to the office now."

"Yeah, yeah, it's alright. Don't forget to come on time for the thank you party!" Emmalyn smiled.

"Yup! See ya!" I waved goodbye and answered Katelyn's call. "Hey Katelyn!"

"Aphmau! You have to come to the office immediately! I have the greatest news!" Katelyn exclaimed.

"Yes, ma'am!" I giggled.

"Okay see you soon!" Katelyn ended the call.

Hmmm. I wonder what is Katelyn going tell me. Well, I better get to the office to find out what it is.

Garroth's Pov -

At the Phoenix Headquarters :

"You called Aphmau?" I questioned Katelyn.

"Yup, she's on her way." Katelyn smiled. "Are you sure you want her to design your hotel in Phoenix Drop?"

"Yes. How is she?" I asked.

"Aphmau is doing perfectly fine with Alina." She replied.

"Her daughter?" I questioned.

"Ah yes, I forgot to tell you, Alina is Aphmau's and Aaron's child." Katelyn said.

"Where's Aaron?" I asked.

"Oh. Um. He's dead." She nervously giggled, looking down.

"Oh crap, I'm so sorry." I apologized.

"Well anyways how's your daughter?" Katelyn asked.

"Raven is doing great. She was so excited to go to school." I said.

"Phoenix Drop Elementary, right? The school you sponsored?" She questioned.

I nodded.

"Alina goes there too. Aphmau actually designed that school." She informed me.

"Yup, I knew already Aph designed the school, it said on the invitation." I said.

"Oh, you're going to the thank you party. The squad and I were supposed to go but I got my baby who's going to pop anytime soon and everyone else is busy with their clients. Aphmau is the only one who can only go." Katelyn informed.

Then my phone made many dings, meaning I was receiving text messages, so I looked who was sending me text messages, it was my brother Vylad.

Vylad: Sasha is giving birthhhhh

Vylad: plz come hereeee

Garroth: ALRIGHT!

I quickly stood up. "Sorry Katelyn, I'm going to be an uncle! I need to go! Tell Aphmau I said hi!" I said and ran out of Katelyn's office.

Gah! I will be an uncle! Yay! I ran towards the exit and someone was coming in. It was a woman with black raven hair and caramel eyes wearing a purple top and black jeans with heels. Aphmau?

My phone started ringing so I answered the call.

"Garroth! The twins are born!" Vylad shouted.

"Gah! Okay! I'm on my way!" I yelled.

I ran past Aphmau, but our eyes met. Oof, those beautiful caramel eyes. I'll see you later anyway, Aphmau. I missed you.

Hai buddies! So welcome to the chapter 1 of 'just a children's game'!!! I hope you guys will like the changes. Welp this will short bc there literally no drama during the summer. So um yeah! I have nothing to say... Oh yeah! I changed my mind on making just 1 new garmau fanfic... I'LL BE MAKING 2 NEW GARMAU FANFICS! I just didn't know which idea to choose so why not both! Hehe hopefully I'll finish 3 fanfictions in one year. I'll probably get writer block some time to time BUTT I WILL TRY MY BEST TO FINISH THEM IN TIME.

ANYWAYS, lol that is not even short, whatever. I LAB CHU GUYS SO FRICKIN' MUCH, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH! And I'm just so thankful for y'all. Alright see ya later alligator. >~<
