In the morning, at Phoenix Drop Elementary :

Aphmau's Pov -

Today was Present Your Parent's Career Day for Alina's and Raven's class. I just stood with Alina next to me in the school courtyard with other parents. Garroth was next to me but he went to talk with some other parent. Then, Alina nudged me.

"Mommy, can I go to my friends?" She asked, pointing at Raven, a girl with cyan eyes and black hair, a boy with blue eyes and dark blond hair and another boy with brown eyes and brown hair.

"Of course, just come back when the doors open." I told her.

"Thank you mommy!" Alina hugged my legs and then ran to the girls.

I smiled. My little princess...

"Aphmau?"

I turned around to see a man with magnificent blue eyes and black hair. "Gene?" I squinted at him.

He then hugged me. "Oh Aphmau! I missed you so much. I thought I'd never see you anymore after we broke up." He pulled away.

"U-Uh yeah. Nice to see you too Gene." I said.

"How are you?-- Hold on. Why are you here?" Gene questioned.

"I'm here for my daughter." I told. "I'm guessing you're here for your child too?"

"R-Right! Yes! Um. I didn't know you had a daughter." He looked down, then he looked back at me. "My daughter is over there! Little Apple." Gene looked at the girl with cyan eyes and black hair. "Isn't she precious?" He looked back at me with glowing eyes.

"Ah, she's friends with my daughter. The one with black hair. That's my Alina." I smiled.

Then, the doors opened. Kids went to their parents. Alina quickly went by my side and Gene's daughter went to his side. Now, everyone was entering the school.

In the classroom :

I was sitting at Alina's desk while Garroth was sitting at Raven's desk behind me. Gene sat at Apple's desk which was next to me.

"Psst! Aphmau!" I heard Gene whispered.

I looked towards Gene. "Yes?"

"Are you busy next weekend?" He asked.

"I don't know, why?" I questioned.

"Well, the old Shadow Knights members are reuniting next weekend." He informed. "You were a part of the group for a year so you should come to see the others."

Right, I was a part of that stupid group. "I'll see with my schedule." I told him.

"Bring Laurance and emo dude too." Gene chuckled. "They were a part of the Shadow Knights too."

"Yes, I'll try to bring Laurance and 'emo dude'." I sarcastically said and giggled. "Actually give me your number, we should keep contact, right?" I took out my phone and gave him my phone.

"O-Of course!" He exclaimed, typing in his phone number. Gene then gave my phone back. "We'll just hang out at the yard at Phoenix Drop High."

"Alright." I smiled at him.

He then blushed and looked away.

"Attention children and parents! Welcome to Present Your Parent's Career Day!" Emmalyn exclaimed. "Anyways, let's start with Tommy and his dad!"

Many presentations later:

Phew! So many different careers! Gene is actually a doctor. It was finally Alina's turn to present. Alina stood up as I followed her lead to the front of the class.

"Hello! My name is Alina Phe and this is my mommy Aphmau Phe!" Alina presented.

"Hi!" I waved at everyone in the room.

"My mommy is an architect! So I will explain what is an architect and what do they do!" She giggled.

While Alina talked, I was just smiling and looking around the room. I looked at Gene and he looked at me with a smile on his face. Then, I looked at Garroth and he looked at me with his dreamy eyes. He mouthed 'I love you' at me. I chuckled and mouthed 'I love you too'.

"There you go! Any questions to ask my mommy?" Alina asked.

A kid raised her hand.

"Yes?" I said.

"Are you working on any projects?" The girl asked.

"Yes. I'm working on a hotel for someone special." I smiled, looking at Garroth.

Suddenly, every kid in the classroom raised their hand, even Raven raised her hand.

Alina chuckled. "I'm pretty sure I know what you guys want to ask my mommy. So, Raven ask away." She then winked.

"Who is this 'someone special'?" Raven asked, smirking.

There was some giggles and chuckles all over the room. One parent started filming. I was standing in front of everyone, blushing. I looked over at Garroth and he was just secretly laughing at me while putting sunglasses on and his hood on.

"W-Well, it's a beautiful man with gorgeous blue eyes." I said.

"Is it him!" A kid pointed at Gene who started blushing.

"No, no." I awkwardly giggled. "This beautiful man with gorgeous blue eyes has short soft blond locks of hair."

The kids looked around for a parent with short blond hair. They didn't looked at Garroth since his hood on which covered his hair.

"Final hint is this man's name is Garroth Ro'meave." I looked at Garroth, smirking.

"Come on Garroth!" A parent exclaimed.

"Kiss her Garroth!" Another parent exclaimed.

Then, Garroth stood up from his seat and walked towards me. He removed his sunglasses and his hood. Everyone gasped.

"Kiss her! Kiss her Kiss her!" The kids chanted.

"Alright! Alright!" Garroth came in front of me and pulled my hips towards him. He then kissed my forehead.

"Cooties!!!" A kid yelled.

Everyone laughed and fangirled.

Hello mah babiessss! Welcome to a new chpater of 'just a children's game'!!! This chapter is kinda rushed bc chapter 10 is halloween theme so I have to post chapter 8 and 9 before halloween. Why? BECAUSE I LOVE YOU ALL SO YOU DESERVE MORE CHAPTERS FOR YOUUU! So expect a chapter in a few days I guess, hint hint Gene will be in the next chapter huehue.

Let me please let my thoughts out. I THINK I'M LIKING SOMEONE, EVEN MORE THAN P. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ;-; I don't know what to do. Shouldn't I move on though? Shouldn't I think about my happiness. P and I will probably never get back together ever again soooooooo... J (the other boi I like) is pretty cute and whenever I see him, my heart just melts and makes me smile. I might just like him for his looks but I have this feeling, it's a nice feeling. BUTT! The thing is I've never talk to him (maybe once, just to tell him what group we are) and don't know anything about this man, all I know is he's filipino, 16 years old and B E A U T I F U L! oof but like when he puts his hair up, he looks so friggin adorable.
