A/N: I should warn you that much of the story here is linked to TyForestWrites' fanfic, Team SHDW, and will be using references to it and the teams TyForestWrites has made. For maximum enjoyment and context, head over to his story first. Or don't. This is just an author's note, not the ten commandments.

A demon. A monster. That's why you're in here.

It wasn't his fault. It's unlikely he even knew.

Don't give him an excuse. Yin is clearly one of them. He prevented an escape and allowed ABIS to capture your team. Never mind the fact that his faction's victory has threatened the alliance with the White Fang.

That thing wasn't Skyler, and Bloodmane was ultimately the one who beat us.

Really? And just which side was she on? Remember your lessons. Yin was the leader, and everything is the leader's fault.

Don't remind me of Father's lies.

Lies, eh? He was right about the White Fang. They can't help you right now. He was right about butting heads with SDC. That went well, didn't it? Now because of your failure your team will suffer.

Shut up.

You can't protect Elizabeth here. What will you tell Edward when Amnon finds her?

...

And Brittany? She's got a bounty rivaling yours, yet a second in command isn't nearly as useful to Atlas' military. We both know what will happen to her.

"Mr. Bour...."

No...

Oh my. Have you been avoiding that thought this whole time?

No. No...

No. They wouldn't.

"Mr. Bourbon?"

No. No. No. No. No. No.

Execution.

NO!

"Mr. Bourbon!"

"What?!", I hear myself roar.

"Do you have anything to say in response to these charges?"

As if on cue to his question, my mind fades back to reality. The psychological torture prior to now must have had more lasting effects then I'd realized. I'll have to make a note to kill off anyone with mental based semblances later.

For now, though, my mind races to set up what's going on. It would the most efficient to list off what I know. I know where I am. I'm in the Atlesian maximum security prison, code name: Solitude. I've read enough about this wretched place. Here resides some of the world's most dangerous criminals, whether it be serial killers or men charged with treason like me. At least, that's what it's officially for. Unofficially, it is the human/faunus live experimentation lab, Atlas' dirty little secret. Here the scumbags test any and all theories, no matter how ridiculous. They've even crafted a primitive method of semblance transfer in these cold halls. As rumor has it, this method can directly affect the soul itself. The sheer magnitude of the violations of ethics and morality of this place's existence and accomplishments would be enough to kick off riots, rebellions, perhaps even a war.
