Guardian

MINA'S POV

I giggled as my brother Alexander chased me. "I'm going to catch you!" He yelled while darting after me. I screamed while giggling.

He caught up to me and grabbed me. But... It wasn't Alexander anymore, it was him. I screamed I'm terror. He laughed this evil laugh. "You're mine now."

I jerked awake, it was just a dream I told myself. I looked over at my alarm clock 3 a.m. great. I threw off my covers and made my way to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and poured my self a glass of milk.

I leaned up on the counter and sipped my milk. Suddenly an eerie feeling took over. Like someone was watching me. I quickly made my way to my bedroom.

I crawled under my covers. The wind howled through the night. Tree branches hit my window. It was pretty difficult to fall back asleep.

Then that feeling came back... someone was watching me. I was pretty freaked out. I shut my eyes.

Curiosity took over, I slowly opened my eyes. Two gorgeous blue eyes stared at me. I stared into them. "Wh-who are you?" I whispered. "I, Mina, am your guardian." Then everything faded as I fell asleep.
