Guardian

Chapter 3

The bedroom door slammed open. I heard an evil laugh. "I'm going to get that precious girl of yours." My guardian growled, "If you put one tiny scratch on her I will rip you to shreds." He smiled, an evil smile.

"But you wouldn't, you wouldn't kill your own father now would you?"

"I think your underestimating my powers." He then charged at his "dad" I think. I don't know I am really confused. He grabbed his father by the throat. "You leave now, or you die." He said.

His father laughed louder, "You think I believe you'd actually kill me? You're weak Kobe, WEAK."

Kobe, I think looked angrier than ever. "Come on son do it, kill me, your own father. What would your mother think?" He smirked. "DON'T YOU DARE BRING MOTHER INTO THIS!" He yelled in his fathers face.

His father kicked him in the gut, and then the "spot" He fell over and groaned. "Yes yes, I was right you still are weak, To think I thought you were strong. Im leaving now but, Ill be back for your precious girl." He then walked off.

Once I was sure he was gone I ran out to Kobe. "Oh my goodness are you ok?" I asked. "I'm fine."

"What was that all about? Honestly I'm really confused." I asked. "I don't know, but Mina hes after you, now Ill never be able to let you put of my sight or else... He might kill you. I cant let that happen." He explained. "But... Who is he? Why do you have to guard me why me."

"Because Mina, you're special, many things are out to get you. But you've never noticed because I always kept them away. But he... my dad is the only one I cant keep away because, because I'm weak."

"You're not weak."

"Yes I am! I cant protect you from him, so I'm weak, ive failed Mina ok." I shook my head, "I still don't believe you're weak. You've protect me for who knows how long and now one person comes along and just because you cant defeat that one person doesn't mean you're weak."

"You don't understand." He whispered. "I cant protect you from him, I'm weak."
