Dylan's POV
Best. Night. Ever.
Cass is the best girl I've ever met. She's pretty, hell, she's stunning. She's smart, she's funny, she has two cats, everything about her has me crazy.
I want to see her again.
I need to see her again.
"So, how did everything go for you, man? How was your half of the date?" Bryan asks me as he drove back to my place. I've never dated, let alone double dated but I don't think double dates are supposed to go the way ours went. They were literally two dates in the same booth.
"Awesome" I answer simply ignoring the flush I feel creeping up my cheeks. I've never been on a date but this was the best date ever. Cass is the most incredible girl. Since the moment I saw her sitting there quietly, the way she zoned out constantly, like I do, hell, even the way she named her cats Oliver and Olivia is just that: awesome.
"Oh, man, you're whipped" Bryan said.
"Shut up" I reply laughing.
He drops me off at my house, saying he'll call tomorrow, apparently there's another party, go figure.
I tiptoe up to my room, careful not to wake my mom. I love her, I really do, but her constantly asking If I took my pill, if I slept well, if I pooped today; it makes me feel like a baby.
As soon as I get to my room, I put on my pajamas and get into bed, turning on my laptop to watch a show that I've probably watched like 4 times. As I drift off to sleep, all I can see is Cass' beautiful hazel eyes.... SHIT how am I going to see her again? I didn't even asked her for her number.
God, am I an idiot.
