Quavo

"So you do forgive me baby?" I said into the phone.

"Yes Quavious." Cuba said back. It was 2 A.M and we been on the phone for hours. After thinking about it I realized Cuba was right in every way. We don't need a baby & I don't even know why I thought we did. We haven't even been together that long. I guess I was insulted that she didn't want one with me, but now I know that wasn't what she meant. If it would've been any other female I would've been glad they took a Plan B, especially without me having to tell them.

"I can't believe you got that mad. I thought I was doing you a favor."

"Not a favor but you was right we don't need no babies. Now we can just focus on us."

"Exactly. I was shocked when you said you actually want one with me."

"I do. Just not now." I said. I shook my dreads before laying back on my pillow and yawning.

"Go to sleep." Cuba said

"Nah Ima go down to the studio & work on this album."

"Well I'm going to sleep. I love you."

"I love you too. Goodnight baby." I said before hanging up. I got up heading downstairs to the studio. The lights were off but there was music playing. I cut the lights on seeing Kiari smoking on the couch with his eyes closed. I looked at him as I walked over sitting beside him.

"You good bro?" I asked. All he did was shake his head making me furrow my eyebrows at him.

"I fucked up Hunch." He whispered then took another hit.

"What you mean nigga what's going on?"

"I'm a dad." He whispered again.

My eyes widened and I leaned forward getting a good view of his face. I watched a single tear fall from his left eye & he quickly wiped it.

"Kiari what the fuck are you talking about?"

"Oriel."

I smacked my lips at him before shaking my head. Not this girl again. Oriel is Kiari's ex. They was on & off before he ended their relationship for good then cut off all ties with her. She went to school on the East so it was easy for them to keep a distance.

"Man I thought you tossed her."

"I did. She saying she was pregnant when I left her. Now the baby is six months. She named him Kody. He look like me." He said the last part with a small smile. He spoke the whole time with his eyes closed. This was hard for me to wrap my head around.

"You need to take a DNA test."

"That's my baby nigga. Ain't no denying." He pulled out his phone finally opening his eyes. He unlocked it then showed me a picture of the baby. That's definitely Ki kid.
