Gavin walked up the hill with Zero in tow. He was nervous as he saw Michael standing in the doorway. Gavin realized it was too late to turn back now.

"Fuck." He mumbled to himself.

Taking a deep breath, Gavin approached Michael.

"Aye, Micool, you missed it," suppressing a cringe at how disappointed his own voice sounded. Michael hopefully wouldn't notice.

Gavin whispered quietly with a tinge of shyness in his voice, "I was watching."

Feeling awkward, Gavin decided to wrap up their short conversation, "Well, I'm sorry you couldn't make it,"

"Bye, Gavin."

"Goodbye, Micool."

Gavin turned away, grabbed his rib from Zero and threw it again, resisting the urge to turn back to Michael.

Gavin strode down the hill on his long legs quickly, making his way back towards his house.
