Sugawara was always into supernatural things. It was something he was drawn to for some inexplainable reason.

His mother told him that when Suga was an infant he would always smile as if an angel of some sort was telling him a joke.

Perhaps that was why he was so interested in ghosts and demons and angels. Because of his mothers silly stories.

'No, there must be another reason,' he would think.

He knew about angels. He went to church, and was educated about demons and the devil. He knew about hell and heaven and most importantly about guardian angels.

He often found himself wondering who was his guardian angel. maybe it was an archangel, or a smaller and simpler angel.

He didn't have a father. His mother always told him stories about how she met his father. She would describe him as angelic, which is a strange word to describe a mere human. She never told Suga how he died or even if he is dead, she just told him that he was always with them in spirit, so it was natural to think that he had passed away before Suga would be able to remember him.

There were times when Suga wished his father was present.

Now was one of those times, as he stood in front of his mothers coffin.

He said a small prayer as tears continuously rolled down his cheeks, when suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned around.

"Mom?" He let out a hoarse whisper as he surveyed the empty surroundings around him. He must have imagined it, and he suddenly felt silly for calling out to his deceased mother like that. But the pressure on his shoulder didn't fade away, and instead he could feel almost as if a thumb was rubbing circles on his back.

He sniffed and stood up.

Over the next year, Suga hasn't had any sensation like he had the day of the funeral, and he often found himself crying into a pillow. He felt alone, sad and scared. He visited his mother everyday and prayed to God that she and his father were happy in heaven. Suga even stopped researching about angels and demons.

Suga slowly became depressed and found himself feeling lost and wondering where everyone went. He lost faith in God and instead became angry, because how could God let someone like his mother die?

He was prescribed pill after pill but nothing seemed to lift up his mood.

Where was his guardian angel? Weren't they suppose to protect him?

The long, agonizing day of work has finally finished up with a visit to his mother. He came home to an empty house, just like he has for the past year. He laid down on his unmade bed and stared up at the ceiling.

He hasn't taken his pills this morning and as he glanced at the bottle, he realizes that he hasn't taken his pills in a week. He sits up and grabs the bottle from the nightstand. He opens the bottle and grabs the bottle of water, and shakes out two pills into his hand and swallows them easily. He holds onto the open pill bottle and takes a quick look at the label on the bottle.

Warning: danger of overdose.

Suga blinks a couple of times and looks over at a picture frame of him and his mother, both of them smiling happily. Suga stares at the picture for a little bit longer.

"See you soon, Mom," Suga says, dumping the entire contents of the bottle into his hands.

He brings his hand close to his mouth, when he suddenly feels a slap at the back of his hand and all the pills go flying to the side of his room.

Just then, a blinding white light appears and a boy that looks like Suga's height appears in front of him.

The boy looks at Suga with fierce blue eyes and it  causes Suga to freeze.

The boy opens his mouth up to speak.

"Stop Sugawara,"
