Suga naturally backed away from the boy.
"W-who are you? What are you doing in my room?" He asks, his hands shaking.
The boy brings his hand through his hair and looks at Suga.
"Aren't you suppose to know? You studied all about me after all." The boy says. Suga quickly racked through his head to find any sort of information that might point to what this creature is.
After a few moments of silence, the boy speaks up.
"I'm Oikawa Tooru, your guardian angel." The boy says.
Sugawara cocked his head to the side.
"But that's impossible." He mumbles. The angel shakes his head.
"What, did you expect me to show up with wings?" He asks, his blue eyes piercing through Sugawara's soul.
All of the research Suga has done didn't seem to show any results now, as he did not know what to do in this situation.
Oikawa slowly stepped forward and put his hand on Suga's shoulder. The touch felt familiar but distant. Suga was scared that if he closed his eyes for too long he would wake up, because it was quite obvious that he was dreaming.
Suga found himself leaning against Oikawa. Oikawa sighed before wrapping his arms around the poor boy. Oikawa wasn't suppose to be here, but when Suga picked up the bottle he knew that he couldn't sit and watch Suga kill himself.
The problem was that Suga was suppose to die.
On July 20th of this year, Sugawara Koushi was suppose to take one too many pills and fall into a coma, and that he would soon succumb to it.
Oikawa didn't mean to rewrite fate. One might even say that it was fate that Oikawa did such a thing.
But one things for certain, Oikawa would have to stay in human form for a while.
You see, what happens with humans is that they have a natural countdown.
A number on their chest signifying their time left on earth. It could be in days, hours, or even minutes. It was a number that only guardian angels could see. Yesterday, Sugawara had a one on his chest. Meaning that Sugawara only had one day left before he would die. Before he was suppose to die.
If a guardian angel does something to stop the human's countdown, they are forced to appear in human form, until their human dies.
This wouldn't be a problem if the world wasn't filled with evil spirits.
After a human has gone into overtime, they are no longer property of heaven. The human and it's guardian angel are now nobody's property, meaning that they are fair game for demons.
Most humans that go into overtime, don't survive more than a week, because the temptations from the demons are impossible to bear that they give up and give in to the demons, leaving the angel without a human, turning the angel into dust.
Oikawa knew that if he didn't protect Sugawara with all that he had, both of them would perish.
What he has done, cannot be fixed.
Both of them weren't part of heaven anymore.
Oikawa would have to get ready for the worst.
The demons are coming.
