Chapter Twenty Six
Omega's POV
I shook my head out of the daze and stood upright, I felt a flaring pain at my side, I winced holding my side, I felt a few of my ribs cracked, or atleast healing, it still felt painful. I hissed in pain quickly lifting up my shirt to see the damage, there were bandages wrapped up all over my chest, I felt a few ribs were broken or atleast healing, it was a pain in the arse to deal with, and it felt very painful.
I heard a small snore beside me, I looked beside me a little bit in shock. A girl was sleeping soundly behind me her head buried in her arms beside my bed. I stifled a laugh, she was looking so sound while she was asleep, I sighed a little thinking about how to wake her up, I decided to just straight up shake her awake, I looked beside me and shook the Daughter of Order awake
"Hey Skye, psst, wake up" I said slowly moving her back and forth. She instantly reeled back and by instinct slapped me in the cheek, she shook her head looking around and saw me. A small smile formed in her features
"Sorry" she said shyly
"Was that really necessary" I said rubbing my red cheek
"What, you startled me" She replied crossing her arms.
"So what happened while I was asleep" I asked, she shrugged
"Nothing much, also thank you very much" She said
"I'm now the new Battle Captain, I've really wanted Amanda to be put in her place, she was just so arrogant" She said a smirk forming in her features, I couldn't help but chuckle. I got out of bed careful not to make any further harm to my already broken ribs, I yawned a little my fatigue not fully gone.
"I wanna go get some fresh air, this room is killing me" I said going out the door, the sun started to beam onto me as the sight of buildings randomly scattered around were seen, there was a certain peace and tranquility in this place, just couldn't place why it was that. Just as I thought about that sentence I felt bows were being drawn. I sighed turning around raising my hands with an eyebrow raised.
