Little White Lies

"Mom!" Ciel laughed. His big smile lit up the room as he showed me his power. "Look! Look! I did it! I made a flame, it's just like daddy's!" 

I smiled softly," yeah, if daddy were here, he'd be so proud," I giggled lightly as I patted his head.

"Mom!" Kei yelled from the other room, turning my head, he was covered in blood.

"Kei, what happened to you!?" I asked, running over to him, pulling at his limd gently, just looking for a scratch on my baby.

"N-nothing, it's jam! Saoirse blew it up!" Kei stuttered.

"It's not my fault!" Saoirse panted as she entered the room out of breath. "He said that he wanted to fight, and I wanted lunch!" She yelled, giving Kei the evil eye.

"All right, cut it out, or I'll tell your father," I said with a smirk.

"Tell me what?" Bill asked, entertaining the room.

I looked down at my children with mischief," oh nothing, just the Ciel can make fire now," he said, walking over to him, kissing him on the cheek.

"And this?" He asked playfully pointing to Kie and Saoirse.

"Oh that?" I said sarcastically," that's lunch," I laughed. "Come, here yo— Bill!!" I trailed off.

"Bill!" I screamed, looking into the darkness. He was nowhere, he's gone— why?! Why did he leave me!? Tears filled my eyes, my breathing grew heavy.

"Dipper!" I turned to face... Mabel?

"Your pathetic! Falling in love with a demon!? I hate you!" She screamed at me. I could hear all their voices! Ford's, Stan's, Wendy's, my father and mother— I could hear it all. Them yelling, their screams of pain and hate.

"Pine tree?" I voice spoke to me, I turn to see Bill, the real Bill. "Are you ok? Don't cry, it's just a dream," his voice Soothed me.

I clung to him," Bill, Bill it's really you!" I cried in his chest.

"Not quite, but I'm coming, I swear you'll be safe in my arms soon," he cooed. I nodded as thing because darker.

"Bill?... Bill!" I screamed as he disappeared from my sight.

"Bill!" I screamed, reaching for nothing in the air. My body was flooded in a cold sweat, wiping away the sweat, I took deep breaths," It was just a dream, it was just a dream," I sighed.

"Mommy?" Kei tugged on sleeve, he looked terrified.

Tears filled my eyes as I pull him into my embrace– stroking his hair softly," it's ok, it's ok. I'm fine, I'm fine, shhh," I whispered, rocking him back n' forth, "I'm fine, Really. Mommy's fine," I hummed.  It hurt so much to lie to him. I wasn't fine, I was falling apart at the scene, I don't know how much I can take of this– I'm going to lose it soon.

He was soon lulled to sleep," mommy, I'm scared," Saoirse whimpered, squeezing my arm.

"Oh no, not you too..." I whispered. Tears slipped down my face, both she, and Kie started to cry. "Oh no, stop, everything's going to be fine," I whisper, pulling them both close to my chest. "Your father is on his way. You two are so strong, just keep it up a little while longer, and I'm sure when we get home there'll be a 'welcome back' party for all of us," I hummed softly as they calmed down. "You'd like that right?" I asked, they both nodded before drifting off to sleep.
