Chapter 11

Amanda's POV.

I turned from Irfan to save myself from crying in front of him. But he got to me and the nerve of him to say it's not over made me more angry than before.

I know he wouldn't do anything. Men like him just can not handle rejection. After he left I fell on my knees and covered my head and cried. Violet and Alvin were by my side and saying things to clam me. But I could not hear their words.

If Irfan was really a Prince, which I know he is. He has the power and the money to do what he likes does he not!" I thought to myself.

I stopped crying and slowly look at Violet and Alvin. "I am going home." Is all I said.

Violet said "No my baby you need to stay here with me. I can not let you drive like this."

"I'll be fine Aunt Violet and I walked out of the house. Alvin rushed to me and hugged me tight.

"I am always there with you no matter what and when. All you need to do is call." Alvin said.

I hugged him equally tight and nodded in his embrace. After some time he let go of me. I saw Aunt Violet by the door with tears glisting in her eyes. I forced smile at her and she blew me a kiss before I left.

I reached home and couldn't walk up the stairs. My hands and feet were trembling. I unlocked my apartment and went in leaning on the main door I sat down and the tears started to roll down my cheeks.

I could hear my phone ringing continuously and that is when I realised that I have fallen off asleep near my door crying.

I looked around for my clutch and found my cell ringing. I pulled it out and before I could answer I saw forty three missed calls. They were all from Aunt Violet Alvin and Neil.

I quickly dialed Neil's number thinking if something has happened to Pamela.

I heard his phone ring once before he answers and that was quick.

"Ne.." and I did not even get a chance to finish his name before I heard him shout

"Are.you.seriously.mad.what.the.hell.is.wrong.with.you.? Stressing each word.

"What are you talking about Neil?"

"Amanda Collins you are pregnant and getting married next week and I see that on the news at 11 in the night. We are supposed to be friends I thought."

I could not register a word Neil was saying.

"What the he'll are you talking about Neil? I asked him

"This girl is asking me what is wrong when it her. She should be telling us what's going on. And here we. She is totally insane!" I heard Neil talk to some one at first I did not know who he was talking to., until I heard Jane speak.

"Neil are you equally crazy to shout so loudly. At that volume you will end up waking Pam. She just slept. You need to clam down. Hand the phone over to me so I can speak to her. "

I could hear my second line buzzing and saw Alvin and Violet were calling me at turns. But I wanted to first deal with this stupidity that I was listening to from Neil and his idiotic theroy of me being pregnant.

Jane came and gently asked me
"Amanda are you getting married out of love or only because you are pregnant. Think if it's due to only pregnancy Then you know you should not...bu"

I cut Jane before she could proced  any further as all of this nonsense was making me annoyed and I told her "Jane why are you telling me all of this I am not pregnant and nor am I getting married. I hope the two of you have a very solid reason for waking me at 1 am in the morning to speak about this shit." I was almost yelling by now.
