Chapter 8

[(Y/n)'s POV]

It was a couple of days before the dance and I've been ignoring Team RWBY.

I didn't want them to know the truth about me so I tried to get as far away as possible from them.

As I was lost in my thoughts I got a message on my scroll.

Weiss: (Y/n) can we talk?

Me: What for?

Weiss: Come on it's important.
Me: Fine but just you.

Weiss: Meet me in the courtyard in 5 minutes.

I put my shirt on and headed to the courtyard.

As I was waiting I spotted Weiss and walked over to her.

Weiss: Why?

Me: Huh?

Weiss: Why have you been ignoring me?

Me: I'm sorry. I really like you but after what I'm about to tell you I don't think you'll want to see me again.

Weiss: What is it?

Me: Do you know (D/n) Ackerman?

Weiss: Yes. He's the most wanted Mobster in all of Remnant.

Me: Yes well he's my father.

Weiss: That means you're-

Me: Yes I'm the son of the Mobster. I'm really sorry Weiss. It's okay if you hate me I'm used to it. I'm just tired of people fearing me because of that. People always judge me because my dad's a criminal.

Weiss: it's okay

She gets closer to me and hugs me tight.

Weiss: I'm sorry for people treating you that way but I'm here for you.

Me: Thanks. How about I make it up to you? I'll do anything you want just for today.

Weiss: How about we go out for dinner?

Me: Sure anything you want.

Weiss: Well let's go.

Me: You mean right now.

Weiss: Yeah.

[At Vale]

We ordered our food and meanwhile we waited we talked a bit.

Me: So um Weiss... Do you have a boyfriend?

Weiss: Um.

Me: Sorry you don't have to answer that.

Weiss: No it's okay. And no I don't.

Me: I thought you were dating that Neptune guy.

Weiss: No. He just likes to flirt with girls and I don't like that in a guy.

Then the waiter came with our food. And we started eating.

Me: So you never had a boyfriend?

Weiss: N-no

Me: Well that makes two of us.

Weiss: You mean that you never had a girlfriend?

Me: Yeah. I know it's hard to believe but it's true.

Weiss: But so many girls flirt with you.

Me: I know I'm just waiting for the right girl I guess.

Weiss: S-so who w-was your f-first k-kiss?

Me:*blushes* U-um actually you're m-my first k-kiss.

We finished our dinner and headed back to Beacon.

[At Beacon]

After what we talked about at dinner I think I was falling even more in love with Weiss.

We were outside of Team RWBY's dorm room.

Weiss: S-so um (Y/n). W-what you said a-about you l-liking m-me is t-that true?
