She had slept for a few hours by then morning traffic had passed and some people went to work some off for the day. He had finished drawing her and she rustled awake on his shoulder. "Good morning,"he said. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Morning,"she purred softly. She sat up and yawned softly as they both stood up. They knew it was the time to go shopping. So they walked back to the apartment and Jarith started his car up. It sat outside the complex being a sidewalk parking spot. He opened her door and helped her in and then got in himself and they drove off. They were almost at the store when Emily smelled something a little funny. She didn't know what it was. So she just didn't say anything. They got to the shop and parked, then entered the store in search of their kimonos. They split up missing each other every second. Jarith a standard male kimono, but Emily she finds and incredibly stunning kimono with a lovely floral design and a small hummingbird on it. They both meet each other by the changing rooms and try them on. Jarith reveals his kimono. But Emily does not it is her way of saying to him I want it to be special when you see me. They both ordered their colors and got measured and they both bought them with cash on the spot. They then got a receipt telling them when they would be ready to pick up. As they finished up each one went outside. Jarith again helped Emily into the car and she noticed the odd smell again. Jarith got in the car and opened up the center console. He put his receipt into it and Emily saw a bag with some green material in it. They smell seemed to be emanating from it. She pointed it out,"what's this?" she asked. Jarith confused not seeing what she was talking about she reached down and pulled it out. "Oh that ummmm....it's pot," he said quietly. She thought a minute but didn't seem to process what was going on. She never heard of anyone she knew doing anything illegal. Let alone someone she liked. Sure it may not be bad but still illegal, she would be tragically upset if Jarith were arrested. How could he do something so irresponsible and risk leaving her alone? He stammered and stuttered but he couldn't really say anything. She held up her hand,"Take me home now Jarith," without another word she buckled up and looked out her window. Jarith wanted to say something anything. But he didn't know what to even do. Reluctantly, he took her home. She didn't say anything as she got out and left. He turned the car off and put his head on the steering wheel. She went to her apartment and went to bed. Jarith locked the doors and just slept in the car.
