They woke up did their morning routine and got dressed and got their stuff ready for the festival. Jarith went into the freezer to pull out something he planed on making her for dinner. Something he hoped to be special. He saw the bottle of vodka he grabbed it up and closed the freezer. He went to the couch where she sat and waved the bottle in her face. "Want to have some fun?" he asked even though he knew the answer. "Hell yes!" she said. "I'll match you shot for shot Emily." She said,"Alright Jarith but there's a reason I got that vodka, but you'll have to find that reason out later." He pour them both a shot and they downed them it burning their throats. "Ahhh hot damn that's good,"he said. "Hehe I know." Shot after shot. They had gotten to six shots both of them drunk already. "How are you Jarith?" she purred on the edge of slurring her words. "I'm good and you?" "Great," she poured them one more shot and they downed it. He pulled her into the living room and he turned the music on. They both just followed the rhythm as they danced. He pulled her close their bodies like puzzle pieces matching together as they let the music take them away. The rest was a blur as they woke up later on the couch. Their heads pounding as they rushed to the bathroom he threw up in the trash can then he held her hair as she puked. They wiped their mouths and then brushed their teeth. They then went and made themselves a cup of coffee taking aspirin. They sat there for a few hours the headache going away eventually. He got ready in his kimono and put his kabuki mask on. She would have to get one once she got there. "Hey Emily go on ahead love I'm going to take the bike so if the cops do show we can split up,"he kissed her forehead. "Alright sweetie I'll see you there,"she kissed him softly and left. Once she was gone he went and got the item out of the bag and put it in his pocket of his kimono. He got on the bike and drove towards the festival. She had gotten there and put her kimono on putting her hair in a bun in the back. She slipped through the crowd to the kabuki mask stand. She had picked out the perfect one. She put the mask on and started to have fun at the festival. Some time passed and he arrived at the festival looking for a any sign of her. He went to the shrine steps and got on his knees praying tonight go ok. A girl in a bunny mask got on her knees beside him. She wore a pink floral kimono with and a hummingbird on the shoulder. She had prayed he was alright and that he arrived safely. The man beside her started to sing. That voice she knew so well, she gripped his arm and he looked at her his green eyes sparkling and her blue eyes glazed over. She threw her arms around him and he picked her up spinning her around. He whispered,"Missed you my little bunny." She blushed darkly and leaned her head on his shoulder. "You look stunning," he said. "Thank you my love." They walked around sampling the food and played some of the games afterwards it was time for the firework show. They sat on the grass and watched the firework show. Everyone started to leave the festival but in the crowd they dipped away to the shrine. Yes it was technically illegal to do so. But Jarith thought it the perfect place for what he had in mind. They both went before the shrine and prayed. The payed their offering. She stood at the edge of the stairs he walked up behind her and put and arm around her. She smiled and leaned her head back on him as he moved his mask and kissed her head. "Emily I want you to know I truly love you my heart is yours forever and always I know we've been through thick and thin an I don't think we'll ever forget how we actually met." She chuckled,"Your right about that love." "I feel as though I've know you for the longest time and I feel like I can make you the happiest little bunny ever." She cooed,"I know you will my love." He let her go. She thought it was time to go. As she step down he dropped to one knee. "Emily," he called to her. She turned around to see him on his knee. "Jarith what are you doing?" she looked at him confused. He removed the item from his kimono. "Emily Caldwin will you marry me?" he opened the item revealing a ring. She teared up speechless,"Are you serious?" He nodded. "Then yes I will marry you!" He slid the ring on her finger and she hopped on him he carried her to her car and brought his motorcycle around to it. He changed as did she and they drove home his bike right beside her car door as they drove. They pulled up to the house talking about the ring and if they should have an actual wedding or not. But they went to sleep arms wrapped around each other.
