He had to create the perfect model 12.5 waiter-bot for a past-themed restaurant, exclusively accessible to Greenwall employees, of course. It was times like these that Carlton lost faith in himself and realized what a menial job he had taken on. Days like this, Carlton wished he had never met Evangeline and been sucked into her whirlwind of lying worlds and computer governments. Ridiculous, one part of his brain thought. This is your life now, another part of his brain argued.
His self-depreciating thoughts were cut short as three men in black suits burst into his office and exposed his neck forcefully and inserted a small needle into his neck.
