My Fault (Plus A/N)

Chara's P.O.V
Geno was on his knees with even more blood than he normally had. He had cuts, bruises, even broken bones. I just smiled at this. "Looks like your time has finally come Geno." I looked down at him as if I were a queen and he was a peasant. "I've been waiting for this my entire life. Or what I call afterlife. Heh, you probably don't even know what's going on do you?" I chuckled evilly. "What do you want from me!?" He asked. "I want-" I pick up my sythce and put it around his neck. "Your life." I said with a smile. "Why?! I never did anything to you!" "You didn't but the gods did. The o my reason I'm after you is because you are Death's weakness. If I turn all the gods against Death they will all be weak. Of course Death won't end their life since they are needed in order to keep the mortal realm stable. Then that is where me and Asriel come in. With all the gods weakened it'll be easy to take control. I'll rule them all." I said "What are you even fighting for?!" Geno asked. "I just told you idiot. Are you that deaf?" "Is getting revenge even worth fighting for?" "I'm fighting for..." I swing my sythce at his neck, reaping him. His soul came out of his chest and I saw it break and shatter to pieces. I still had my smile as I turned to Asriel. "Shall we continue making this world perfect?" I asked. "I think we should leave. After all we have to check if Death beat fa- Asgore." Asriel said. "Oh all right." I said as I began making the portal to the human realm.

Death's P.O.V
Asgore and I have been fighting for a while. By this point my eyes were even more hallow than they were before. I had my sythce curved around his neck. He was defeated. Any god that was still conscious had fear written all over them. None of them could believe what happened. Just as I was about to end Asgore, something hit me. Something painful. At this my eye turned blue. All I said was

"Y O U A R E N ' T M Y T A R G E T"

And I teleported out of the human realm. I went to Heaventale where Geno was suppose to be safe. When I felt that pain I knew something bad happened but Geno isn't gone. He can't be yet for some reason my eye continued to glow blue. When I was at Heaventale the whole place was a mess. There were houses and buildings broken or completely collapsed. Chara knew that Geno was here. "Death!" I heard a voice call out. I turned only to be greeted by Tori. "Death I tried but Chara knew a-and Asriel came back Geno won't listen and I tried but I couldn't fight a-and-" "Tori.... where is Geno?" I asked coldly fearing that my instincts were correct. "I'm sorry." Was all she said until she broke into tears. It couldn't be true. "Geno is safe. Geno isn't gone. He isn't he isn't he isn't!" I kept repeating to myself. I didn't want to believe it. Chara couldn't have known. "This is just a dream right?" I asked myself. I hit a nearby tree with my fist. It hurt. This was real. This isn't a dream. I hit the tree again, and again, and again, and again until my hand was bleeding. "Why.... why him? If all people.... just why?" I asked. I looked at my hand that was bleeding and noticed that drops of water were falling on it. I touched my face and realized that I was crying. I didn't know when I even started. I couldn't help but cry even more. I fell to my knees in defeat. "Next time Chara, I will have revenge." I said as I continued to cry.

Papyrus' P.O.V
After Gaster and I finished capturing the gods and tying them up(?) We left to Heaventale where Geno was at. Yes the plan was to go with my brother to help him with the other two-thirds of the gods but Gaster said he would be fine since he is the God of Death. When we got to Heaventale we noticed that everything was off. The buildings were broken as if the war took place here and not in the mortal realm. "What could have caused this?" I asked as I turned to Gaster. Gaster didn't reply. His eyes were hallow now. "Papyrus....." He said. "Geno is...... gone." He continued. "B-but that's impossible! Chara couldn't have known that Geno was kept here!" I explained. "Papyrus.... we need to find your brother now before he breaks completely." Gaster said. "What do you mean "before her breaks completely."" I asked. "Just help me find him." He said. "Okay Gaster." I said and started walking towards the run down Snowdin. "Okay everyone calm down. Whoever she was is gone don't worry. Meanwhile we can take shelter in the ruins, hotlands, and waterfall(?) while we rebuild Snowdin." I heard someone say. I walked over to where I heard the noise and saw someone who looked like the Sans from this AU. Heaventale's Sans was on a stage trying to calm down all the people that were in a panic. Many babies were crying while others were shouting. "How are you gonna fix this!?" "How many lives were lost because of that- that demon!?" People were enraged. I looked down in shame. I knew this was mainly because my brother fell in love with a mortal but I knew it was all my fault on why this place was destroyed. I was the one who chose this AU to keep Geno safe and I'll be the one that will take responsibility for it. I walked up to the stage that this AU's Sans was at and said, "This is my fault. I was the one that cause this mess. If anyone is to blame then that is me! I know that my choice is what lead to this and I take full responsibility for it! Go ahead and do whatever you want to me but leave the others out of this!" I said. Many people where whispering to one another while others just stared without saying a word. "This is also my fault. I agreed to let them stay here for the time being and I was aware of the dangers that would come. If I hadn't agreed then this wouldn't have happened. So I'm the one to blame for this and not him." Heaventale Sans said. "My son and Reapertale's Papyrus aren't the only ones to be blamed. It is also my fault since I knew of this plan." Heaventale Gaster said as he walked up to the stage. "It is indeed my fault as well." Gaster said as he also walked to the stage. "I'll make sure fix the damage that our Chara has made but for now I'm in desperate need to find Death. I won't be able to fix anything here unless I find him first." Gaster said. "Papyrus let's go find him. We might only have a bit of time until he goes mad." Gaster said as he teleported away. "Heaventale Sans, Gaster, I apologize for everything. I'm sorry but right now I need to find my brother." I said to them. "Don't worry about it. I'll help you find your brother. So will my dad. Right dad?" Heaventale Sans asked as he looked at Heaventale Gaster. "Of course, anything to help." Gaster said. With that we all went our separate ways looking for Death leaving the crowd without a word."
