SUHO

Suho is the perfect gentleman. I have a lot of respect for Suho, since he’s always gentle and responsible, looking after his ‘kids’ as well as he possibly can, with a smile always lighting up his face. He has clearly taken his role as the leader and guardian of EXO very seriously and has proved himself to be the perfect man for the job. Whether it’s being prepared with vitamins for all the guys, or listening to their concerns and feelings, Joonmyun Umma tries his best to be a reliable and strong leader and role model. He’s extremely tolerant and calm, which is why the guys can get away with picking on him so much, but I also feel that they know his limit since he speaks up when he feels ignored, and he’s pretty scary when he’s mad.Despite some of these hiccups, all of EXO clearly respect his leadership and experience a great deal. One particular incident that convinced me that Suho was perfect for the role of EXO’s leader was the run-in with a sasaeng who secretly recorded audio of Sehun and Baekhyun playing video games with some female friends, and then texted Suho to try to blackmail him. Suho handled it amazingly well, completely proving why he’s the perfect guy to lead EXO. Suho was direct and frank, yet logical and calm, and I can’t imagine anyone else handling that situation so well. Despite being polite throughout the conversation with the sasaeng, Suho added a little bit of sass at the end when he told her “And if you’re that curious, ask me in court instead of through text.”. He also showed concern for the friends of EXO who got dragged into the mess, trying his best to protect them. At school, I can imagine Joonmyun being the model student, getting amazing grades and being the reliable class president. He’s the kind of guy you’d want to bring home to meet your parents, without any concern of them disapproving of him. Suho just seems so willing to give everything a go and to prove himself to people and conquer whatever fears or shortcomings he has. I think that’s definitely his strongest quality, that he never gives up and never wants to let anyone down, whether it’s acing martial arts on your first try (EXOST episode 8), or diving into the freezing winter ocean just to show your members that you’d do anything for them as their leader (EXOST episode 5). I don’t think many people would have the determination to be a trainee for 7 years like he did, and this fact just goes to show how badly he wanted to chase this dream of his. If you think about it, for someone to be so passionate and hard-working, yet still not be seen as a lead vocalist, must be pretty painful, yet I think Suho is always gracious and mature about it. I can see him sometimes being overshadowed by the other members though. He seems to have one of the smallest fanbases, despite always being at the forefront of everything EXO does. Sometimes I feel like he needs to loosen up a little bit and put his ‘leader’ mode into standby as well, which I think would help people to see the playful side of him as well, rather than the serious side all the time.he is a thoughtful person.. He deserves to be the Exo-K leader..
