Life's like a bag of apples. You never know what you're gonna get. Yeah yeah I know the "real" saying is, "A box of chocolates" or something stupid like that but I'm allergic so I say bag of apples. Let me explain this apple bit a little. You know how you can either have a red apple or a yellow apple or a green apple, that's pretty obvious, but you never know when you bite into the apple whether it will be super soft and mushy or hard and tasty. You don't know what's going to happen but you're willing to take a chance on it. You're willing to pick up that apple and bite into it like the rest of the world doesn't matter.
Am I losing you yet with all the talk about apples? Hopefully not, haha.
So you're probably wondering why I would ramble about something so stupid. Something so pointless that you probably want to reach inside your computer and pimp slap me a couple of times. Well, here's the point. In life you have to take chances or you'll end up alone, typing on my computer boring the world with stupid stories.
Anyways, you're probably wondering why I would start off my life story with a simile I changed for my own purposes. Well, it's a very simple answer. BECAUSE I WANTED TO. Whatcha gonna do noowww huhhh?
"Rosabella!" Grr, I swear. No type of respect in this house. I complained quietly to myself as my door was pushed open by my older sister.
"What do you want?" I asked her as she shot me those death looks.
"Did you take my favorite shirt again?!" She yelled.
"How is it your favorite shirt if you never wear it?" I asked her
"Just give me my shirt back now!" She screamed at me. I got up and rummaged through my drawers for a few moments then threw the shirt to the older girl.
"There are you happy?!" I yelled at her. She just slitted her eyes at me and stalked out of my room.
I tried hard to concentrate on the journal I was writing in my laptop but it was impossible. Everyone was irritable and angry because we had to move. Move away from the big city of Lights, Camera, Action! to that cold hard wintered state that I dreaded moving to. Of course I would go. I had to go. I had not choice. On the other hand what was I really leaving? Friends that talked about me behind my back. A boyfriend that cheated on me multiple times? Yeah, I wasn't losing much. I closed my lap top and set it down on my naked bed. I looked around the empty room. There wasn't much here for me anyways. What was I going to do in California? Become an Actress? A model? I doubted all of that to the extreme though people always told me I could be.
My name is Rosabella. I find that to girly to fit me so I prefer to be called Cadence but my sister doesn't seem to understand that. I turn seventeen in two weeks.
"Cadence! Can you help me?" I heard a cry at my door as I tried to concentrate on thinking.
"Sure Jules, what is it?" I asked the little boy that came toddling into my room trying to put a shirt on. I smiled and let out a giggle. "Ha, Jules, it looks like you're in a pickle right there!" I said smiling and laughing.
"Yeah, can you help please?" He asked me and I walked over to him tugging the shirt past the top of his head. His red hair was a curly mess.
"Jules, your hair! You didn't get Pappi to help you?" I asked him and he shook his head vigorously.
"If I'm gonna be a big strong super hero like Batman I gotta learn how to do things on my own!" He said striking a pose. I laughed.
"Well, Batman, can I at least comb through your hair for you?" I asked him.
"Only if you can catch me!" He said then clambered on top of my bed jumping up and down. I jumped on him and caught him in my arms.
"Ha! I caught you! Now you shall be a good superhero and sit while your sister brushes your hair!" I said and he rambled about school and his friends as I combed through his red jolly hair. Julio was my little brother. He had vibrant red hair and bright wide blue eyes to match them. I don't think he's ever slept before in his life because he's always bouncing around and what not. He looked just like my Dad. While I took after my mom. I was very tall. Five feet eleven inches to be exact. I have long dark brown almost black hair that also curled like a jungle. I had it chemically straightened months ago so that it wouldn't be so hard to handle. I have Dark green eyes that my ex-boyfriend said, "sparkly in the sunlight like diamonds" but I got my bang cut to cover a lot of my eyes. I'm very curvy with a big top side and a good bottom. My face is structured like my dads but my body is the spitting image of my mom. Pretty confusing.
