It was hard, to get by people with Okuda on my back. But she was light weight and I was a quick thinker.
When I made it to my one room apartment, I set Okuda down on the couch.
She's gonna be a real problem, isn't she?
I scratched the back of my head and went to he kitchen. There I grabbed a bottle of water and returned to the unconscious girl lying on my bed.
"Okay, it's time to make a plan..." My mind was at a complete blank.
This wasn't normal for me. So I began to panic a little, and by that I mean I was about ready to just kill her.
"... Nagisa?..." Okuda yawned and got up. Though she was calm at first, she started to freak out once memories came flashing back.
"Nagisa, I saw you kill a man..." She collect herself a little. "You killed a man... And you're a boy."
"Yes, yes, whatever, Okuda-Chan~" I smiled sweetly. Then before anything else my face darkened and the so sweet smile I was most know for, became cruel. "So you saw?... Now that'll be a problem, don't ya think, Okuda?"
She shook timidly and unconditionally frightened. Okuda was the definition of scared right now. Perfect.
"What do you think I should do? Hm?" I paused for a second. "... Answer the question."
She was stunned and shaking like a leaf. "Uh-I-I da-don't kn-know, Nagisa-kun." She spoke softly.
I was getting irritated. "Okuda, right now, I want you get yourself a goddamn voice. And say something."
"I said I don't know!" She said a little loud.
Okuda covered her mouth with her hands and had tears in the corners of her eyes, she didn't dare to look up.
I smiled a little more sweeter then before. Okuda was cooperating as well as she could.
"That wasn't too hard, or was it?" I cleared my throat as an idea came to mind. "Now, Okuda, I don't want you to tell anybody anything. Not a single breathing being in this universe. 'kay?"
She nodded. "But, Nagisa-Ku-"
"Don't. No honerifics... Keep going."
"-n, I just wanna know, why? Why are you pretending to be a girl? Why did you kill someone so... Swifty?... Please tell me." She closed her eyes shut and hoped.
I got up Immediately and went to go get the kitten from my scarf. I had almost forgotten all about it but was reminded by the girls meekness.
"If you want me to, Okuda." I sat back down with the cat in my lap.
She looked up and cracked a smile.
"Okay, so it all started when I was 8." I said grinning idiotically. "Life was full of danger in the streets for a little kid, so I got strong, and blah blah blah, I'm gonna skip to the point. I became an assassin. A few more years later I got an assignment to kill that octopus as a student, and decided to do it as a girl for reasons that will be left forever unknown." I skipped most of my background.
Okuda was taken back. "Okay, that's good enough... I guess?"
I clapped my hands together. "Perfect! Now if you want to keep your Life, I'd suggest you listen to my last command..."
Okuda gulped and nodded.
"Tell Karma to stop teasing me." I whined. "He's saying I'm gay and all that. And since you guys are assassination partners, I want you tell him that since he won't listen to me."
Okuda jumped back a little, but soon began laughing.
"I'm sorry, Nagisa!" Okuda laughed. "But Karma won't stop the teasing! Ever!"
I frowned as the girl kept up the laughing. I could've killed her, I really could've, but I didn't. I wonder why?
