-Alec POV-
It's been about two weeks since Magnus has been gone. I miss him. I miss waking up next to him or coming home and seeing him in his study or on the couch ready a spell book.

While I was sitting on the couch one day reading a book after a long day of training I got a phone call.
"Hello?"
I heard some mumbling and movement on the other side of the phone.
"Hello?" I say more sternly into the phone.
"Um. Hi Alexander Lightwood?"
"Alec will do. Who is this?"
I hear a deep breath on the other side.
"This is Evevlyn Head of the London Insitute."
"Oh hi. How can I help you?"
"Actually this is about Magnus Bane, Alec."
I take a deep breath and sit up straighter putting my book down on the table in front of me.
"Magnus? Is he okay?"
"Well....."
"Answer me!" I yell into the phone. I take a deep breath and talk again. "Please."
"He's not okay Alec. He came for us for help. The job he was doing wasn't succesful, as he told us. We need you to come. Now."
I quickly hang up the phone and and head to the institute, running into Clary.
"Alec? What's wrong?"
"Make a Portal to London. It's Magnus."
