Wesley's pov

When Nicole told me what happened I was so happy for her. I was kind of devastated when Allison did that to her on the first day but Nicole is a strong girl. I'm so glad to call her mine. Anyways after lunch I told Nicole I'd meet her in Reading because I needed to go to my locker. While I was at my locker I was stopped by some jocks who were angry at me for some reason. They said "We wanted Nicole to become a part of us but you and your no good friends had to take her away from us. You don't even deserve to be her friend, we do. Why would she even hang around a loser like you? You'll never get a girlfriend. I even should be her boyfriend." I was getting so scared and just started to cry. I then heard a voice say "Leave my boyfriend alone!"

Nicole's pov

When Wesley didn't come to Reading I started to get worried. I then walked to where his locker was and saw him get stopped by these jocks. I hid to where I could see them but they couldn't see me. I heard what they said to him and that's when enough was enough. I then said "Leave my boyfriend alone!" Wesley turned around looking confused and said "Boyfriend?" I said "Yeah you're my boyfriend." I turned towards the guys and said "As for you guys, Wesley is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It was love at first sight for the both of us and I love him with all my heart. I would never even date or be friends with you guys because you guys are self centered. Wesley is unique and one of a kind. I will never become one of you guys." I then took Wesley's hand and walked away to the bathroom. He was crying so much so I said "Wesley don't cry, they aren't worth your tears. Just know that I'm always here for you and you can come over at anytime, my mom won't mind." Wesley said "Thank you for standing up for me Nicole. I'm so glad you're in my life." He then hugged me.

Wesley's pov

I then hugged her because I honestly couldn't thank her enough. She asked me "Have you been bullied before?" I said "Yes, I have." She looked shocked and just hugged me but a little tighter this time. I relaxed in her embrace, I then asked her "Nicole, did you mean it when you said you love me?" I said looking up at her since she's a bit taller than me by about 2-3 inches. "Yes Wesley I meant every word I said. Trust me I love you for you and not one of those jocks will change my mind about you." She said. I then smiled at her and she smiled back. We hugged for a few more minutes and then walked around the halls because the teachers know what happens to me if I don't show up.

School's over now

Nicole's pov

School's finally over and I go to my locker. Wesley kissed me goodbye and said that he's coming over later because his mom was picking him up. As soon as I'm done with packing my belongings I turn around to see no other than, you guessed it Allison White. She looked angry, I then said "Yes Allison, do you want anything?" She then snapped and said, "So I heard that you have a Boyfriend? I thought you'd never get one." I said "Yeah I have a boyfriend who I love very much." She then looked at me saying "Oh honey, he probably doesn't even love you, you probably don't even love him." She then smirked like she was expecting me to react in some kind of way. I knew she was trying to get something out of me. I simply smiled and calmly said "My life shouldn't concern you. This just goes to prove that you have deeper issues than me. You talk to me like you hate me but what have I done to you? I just started this school yesterday and you already hate me. It's like you have the whole story of my life summed up in your head but you don't even know a chapter of it. Do I bother you that much? Does my existence bother you so much that you try to tear me down and try to make me mad? My heart is still beating so that means that I was put on this earth for a reason. I have a purpose. If the the universe didn't need me, I wouldn't be here. So stopped trying to get involved in my life because I see through all your lies. And just so you know I love Wesley very much. You wouldn't even know what love is because you go from guy to guy in this school. So the next time you judge me, how about you take a look in the mirror and make sure you're perfect before you do." "WOOHOO!!!!!!" I heard from all around. I didn't even realize that there was a crowd surrounding us. Allison looked so embarrassed and was glaring at me and tell everyone to stop cheering for her but they didn't listen. "GO NICOLE, SOMEONE FINALLY OUT HER IN HER PLACE!!!" I just simply smiled and once everyone quieted down I said "Some people don't know the power of words, they can either build up a person or destroy a person's self esteem. I've been through too much to stop doing what I do now." Everyone cheered and I just walked out of school with an angry Allison looking at me but up to this point I really didn't care.
