We have school and it's Thursday. I get up and do my usual morning routine and I put my hair into a messy bun. I then pick out my outfit of the day. I chose a gray t-shirt with blue jeans and black/white converse. I then grabbed my bag and my mom dropped me off because my dad already left for work. When we reached school I said bye to my mom and headed straight for my locker. Before I even got to my locker, I'm stopped by this popular girl who's wearing 200 pounds of makeup, a booty skirt, and a tank top which looks like a sports bra. She said "So you think you can dance real good? Well I can dance better." She was trying to challenge me when she didn't even know me and what I can do. "Let's have a dance off." I said and we made our way to the cafeteria which had a stage. She went first and she basically twerked and I just laughed and she smirked saying "You're gonna do so bad." I beg to differ.
So I danced and let go
After that everyone cheered and I smiled and headed off stage. I turned around and said "So I guess we know who is the better dancer." Then out of no where the principle and Matt Stephanina walked over to me? I admired Matt Stephanina for a long time. The principle said "A video of you dancing was posted online and already had over 3 million views." I was shocked, 3 million views? "I invited Matt Stephanina to see your moves when I heard you saying you wanted to have a dance off with that girl. You're gonna be dancing with Matt here in Florida every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Weekend for the rest of the semester." I started to cry happy tears. This is the best opportunity considering I have a passion for dance. I looked over at the girl and she rolled her eyes and glared at me but that didn't matter now, all that matters is that I get to pursue my passion. "When do I start?" I asked "In a month." Matt said. I was so happy and the girl just smirked and evil smirk at me. I know Jacob will protect me have the same classes and we live next door to each other.
Later on that day
I told Jacob the news and he was so happy for me. "I knew you would get there baby girl." He said. We spent the rest of the day hanging out and he stayed the night at my house. I just hope that popular chick doesn't do anything to ruin this chance I have.
